I took 30mg of hydrocodone, if I took another 10mg would it enhance the high at all or just be a waste of a pill?

(The following is pretty much irrelevant but I love to talk on opiates and everyone is asleep)
I started out by taking 10mg (I weigh 110 so yes it got me high) for about a year once every month or two, then raised it to 20mg around the beginning of the year after, though the 10mg was still making me feel nice, y'know how it goes, I just wanted a bit "more". Anyway a few months ago I had my wisdom teeth removed and for about a week I took 10-20mg daily (from my father, my shitty dentist just told me to take advil!) Ever since that week 20mg still made me feel good, but only lasted about an hour, and I even think what I was feeling might have been placebo because it kicked in literally right after I swallowed the pill, so I know that week had to have kicked up my tolerance... Now here a few months later 30mg made me feel as good as when I first took 20mg, but it feels like it's fading and well... I'm just fiending for more (which never happend when I was taking 10, or when I had taken 20 before that week of use) So should I take the last 10mg, or should I just save it until I can get more? Would it extend the feeling any longer?

Depends on when you took the first dose. In my experience, taking additional hydrocodone more than 2 hours after the first dose just prolongs it a little bit.

I also forgot to mention that the times when I took the 20mg and it didn't do much, I later (don't know how much later) topped up with 10-20mg and it did shit, if anything it felt like it made the high vanish rather quickly... Thinking about it that would make sense considering what you said since I think those couple of times my tolerance had risen and the feeling I got from the 20mg was just placebo, because it was definitely past two hours when I had topped up... Hm... Well it's been about an hour and a half so I figure taking the last 10mg I have shouldn't hurt anything.
