im thinking about doing lsd. ive done shrooms and salvia before so im not new to psychedelics. any suggestions on when or a good place to do it and what to expect

I guess that would be the 4 words I'd use to describe my first acid trip today. No matter how many trip reports you read, no matter how much you think you understand what it'd be like, you'll still be blown away.

That. There's no way anyone could possibly properly describe what acid will be like. It's different for anyone so you're going to have your own journey.

When: Some time when you won't have any responsibility that day, or the day after.

Where: Preferably nature. Somewhere secluded where you can be by yourself. Avoid being around people who aren't tripping. It's a lot more comfortable that way. Bring plenty of water/fluids and food, preferably fruit.

thanks i think ill go to the woods by my house. when i shroomed with my friends i made the mistake of staying at my house with them and they destroyed my house haha

Yeah, secluded is a MUST!

We were at this big nature park near my house, and were coming up hard. There is a large playground made of wood, with lots of layers to it. Like a castle almost, with tunnels and big towers. My friend took note that he and I were never on the same level of the playground, showing some kind of heirarchy within the castle. And many of our actions fit PERFECTLY as plot dynamics of a story book. I have never been so euphoric in my life! Then, people showed up. Moms with their god damned kids, so we couldn't run around laughing and screaming in terror anymore. So the rest of the trip just wasn't nearly as mind blowingly awesome, still great though. my girlfriend saw her dead best friend in the mirror in the bathroom. He walked right in there with her and faced her, and all she asks is "what the hell are you doing in the girls bathroom?". Lmfao. That really made her day though, she is dealing with the loss better now.

Point is, your trip will be SOOOO much better when you can do what ever the fuck you want.

I also have a question about acid.

I fried last night on shrooms. Had my best trip and my worst at the same time (it was only my 3rd time). I hated how shrooms fucked with my emotions but really enjoyed the visuals and all that. I was wondering if acid would be the same and mess with my moods (going from feeling god-like to depressed as hell)?

I've only dropped once, but I noticed that my mood changed based on where I was. Every area has a "feel" to it and it will manipulate how you feel, I never got random mood swings.

if by fucking with your emotions you mean making you think about things on your mind (or in the depths of it) that you are morally iffy on, it'll shove those things down your throat until you choke on them. but that isn't a bad thing, you could argue it's the best thing.

the best i've ever felt in my life thus far was sitting in a truck bed, peaking on lsd with a gorgeous 14 y/o on my arm. take any drug you want to, it still won't compare.

Buy some energy drinks or supplements containing B3/ niacin to be safe

It all depends on a few things. A high enough acid trip is going to make you realize a lot of bad things about yourself, but that's why it's a good tool for self betterment. That alone will be overwhelming, but as far as the duration of the trip almost all of mine have been very pleasant and euphoric. Just remember to pick a good set and setting.
