How did you and your significant other come to be "in a relationship"? I don't want your whole story, I want to know at what point did you know or decide you were "dating"? Generally is there a point where one usually asks "do you want to go out with me" or does it just gradually happen or is it marked by the point you have sex?

Well, in high school we had a Cookie room where my girlfriend worked. She would flirt with me I would flirt back, she would bring me free cookies etc.

Then we went on a date about 2 weeks after we first met to the movies. I asked her if she wanted to go out that night because of the wonderful time we had and she said she wanted to wait for summer. We were a couple the day after when she told me "I don't think i'm going to wait for summer =]"

Best friends. Started fucking. Became exclusive. Dating.

I don't get the whole "going out" business.

So you go out, and then ask her if she wants to start going out with you while you're already "out" with her, and if she says yes, it means you're now exclusive? WHAT THE FUCK.

Anyways, we started our relationship one day when things got a little serious.....I was in 6th grade and watching porn for the first time.
