i recently went to the doctor, told him that all i was doing was alcohol and cannabis, got a script for strattera (god damnit) and had to get a blood draw and take a urine sample (which i haven't taken yet because i "didn't have to pee"). but will the breakdown product, norketamine, be decected in the blood draw? i don't care if he know's i've been using benzos, but problems will arise if ketamine is discovered in my system.

last time i did K was the evening of october 2nd, i did 162mg, followed by another ~70+ish mg later. i'm fairly positive it won't show up in the urine sample, but will it show up in the blood draw?

I'm not entirely sure but I think the blood test will show the K. Like I said though, I could be wrong.

yeah, i know about the thread, and sorry mods if this is out of line, but it's not for a drug test, it was just a basic blood draw at a hospital.

i know that detection in the blood is from 7-14 days, and i did it around 7-8 days ago, and it was a pretty heavy dose. but i want to see if they are going to specifically look for norketamine in my blood draw, or notice it, at least.

Are they specifically testing you for drugs? What's with these tests?

it's just a basic blood draw, to see if anything (my drinking, primarily) will interact with my new script, or my liver. so i guess that does mean they might check for drugs... i just hope they don't notice the norketamine, which i doubt is likely...(that they won't notice it)

Well if it's something like that I wouldn't worry. I doubt they'll even run a comprehensive drug screen unless they notified you they were going to be doing so in the first place.

No problem dude..though I'm not sure I answered your question totally. If he is looking for chemicals then it's likely to be a DT. If that's the case the K will likely show up in the blood test. I know there are different types of DTs when it comes to piss tests but with blood I really have no clue. I'm sure they just show it all.
