Who's dry?
It's been pretty dry here in Nebraska for a month now. There's shit to find, but people are charging ridiculous prices. I'm curious if it's just us or if it's been like this anywhere else in the Midwest or otherwise?
Someone got busted with 800 lbs, and at the Lincoln PD they put up a sign saying, "If you think it's dry now, wait until next month!"

Re: Who's dry?
I live in South-West Indiana and it always gets bad around this time of year. That's why I grow my own shit and harvest about this time, actually in about 2 weeks.

Re: Who's dry?
Over my weed smoking career I've noticed that August - October are really common dry months. It seems to not be so bad in the winter, just those months. Best bet is to plan ahead next year.
Save yourself a bummer, buy bulk at the end of summer, conserve it and right out the drought.

Re: Who's dry?
I am in ontario canada. I have noticed that it gets dry through august/september and sometimes well into october. I have no idea WHY! but my thoughts are that the people that are sending out the amazing hydro all winter, call it quits just before outdoor crop season. It makes sense since the area would be over run with really cheap outdoor buds.
But I just love hydro so much and want some NOW!

Re: Who's dry?
I notice the economy definetly has something to do with the drug trade. Ever since its been down ive couldnt get anything outside of weed, sometime THAT can be hard to get.
I remember the days and nights where I could walk down my block and score coke and herion before I would even get weed..... wait that was 3 months ago....

This man is intelligent. So am I, though.
Remember kids, October is the harvesting month for most types of weed (grown naturally). If you're clever, you'll pick up a couple oz before it goes dry. I do this and, while it may seem like a lot of money in one go, you get more bud for your buck and it works out cheaper over all. So long as you have self-control, you'll be all good.

Re: Who's dry?
It's pretty dry in north jersey. I just moved onto a college campus and it's a lot harder to get anything, even weed, up here then I ever imagined. The only good thing about this is if I bring weight back from the city I can usually sell it in 2-4 days.

..... at the Lincoln PD they put up a sign saying, "If you think it's dry now, wait until next month!"
I hear this every year, usually in real life from random people, and I never know if I should believe them, because I've never seen a single sign like that. I have always been under the assumption that it was an urban myth. Every year before harvest shit starts getting tight and drying out for certain areas, especially rural areas, partially because supplies are running low and out, and of course from the heroic efforts of those cunts at the DEA trying to fucking harass people For having some chemical that is actually less harmless physically than god damn near anything.
Control mechanisms piss me off.
