I regret reading this post

When I was living with my parents, and my dad smelt smoke, he'd kid the door down, rambo style. It'd usually end up with him saying "Oh nevermind, it was just your mom burning toast/muffins/water. Clean up this damn door."
Seriously though, smoking indoors like that with your parents home was pretty fucking retarded. Another way to cover smells up is to put some bread in the toaster, crank it all the way up to "Black" and walk away. The burning smoke will essentially fry out everyone's noses and make everything reek of toast.

i'm only posting to agree with this and say the axe thing is pretty decent of an excuse.

i once idiotically smoked a cig (maybe my 10th cig total, about 2 years ago) in my room by the SCREENED WINDOW with everyone but my mom home. needless to say, it smelled horrible. i used every single spray in the house and it made my room smell soo strongly of perfume, etc.

my mom came home and noticed, and i told her my room just stank.

thought no one knew about that shit, but my stepsis told me she could smell it from the living room.

make butane hash oil and use a light bulb vaporizer. I have seriously tried everything and thats the only thing that works besides using an exhaust fan which still makes the room smell temporarily. I have had my friend who cant smoke because of heart palipitations check the smell for just about every idea imaginable to hide the smell and its the only 100% smell free way. I have smoked it in school, on the school bus, every bathroom stall imaginable, just about fucking everywhere and. If you get clear eyes to your practically invincible. The hash oil won't make your breath reak like when you smoke either as a bonus.

I smoke in my room all the time, i just ghost it and leave my windows open for a bit with a fan blowing.

Although my mom has walked in and told me it smelled like something was burning in my room.

I told her I didn't know what she was talking about and asked her to leave me alone...worked well enough. My parents have caught me so many times though that it doesn't really matter anymore, you just kind of get over it.
