Playstation 3 xUbuntu

[IdentityCrisis]

So I have followed this guide to install xUbuntu onto my ps3. After I choose "Other OS" from the XMB to restart the PS3 and start xUbuntu everything is fine and dandy. Except on the start screen... It states to hit enter to continue... Well that would be fucking easy if the damn thing would let me type anything. I am not sure why it is not picking up on the keyboard, the XMB picks up both my keyboard an mouse fine and dandy. Any suggestions?

Edit: I have now attempted to try Ubuntu and kUbuntu, but in both when I attempt to "install other OS" in the XMB I get a "applicable install file not found" message.

Fuck it. A google search comes up with numerous others having the same issue... and with no replies on how to fix said issue. I guess Yellow Dog Linux it is then.

Fuck that. It's a powerful system, it deserves a powerful distro. Use PPC Gentoo.

...and since all the fucking support for PPC Gentoo is geared at PS3's these days, you'll fit in fine.
