How well does colored india ink last for tattoos? Specifically red

My friend did one on her leg last year with black. It lasted a few weeks, but got infected. You'll have to go in a ways for the red to show up.

Just get it professionally done. Or at least find someone with a professional gun.

Yeah I might be going to mexico for spring break. Does anyone know if you can get a tattoo there as a minor? Atleast Ill have a few months to think of something decent to get permanently applied.

I don't advise getting your tattoo in Mexico, their health standards are different. If you really want to bend the rules, just find a seedy place on either side of the border, and your age wont be an issue. The problem with this is in the quality of the tattoo you're going to get.

If it's going to be on your body for the rest of your life, there shouldn't be any reason why you can't wait until you're 18. If you're absolutely in a rush, just get someone to pose as your guardian and have them take you. A lot of shops don't require the guardian to be an actual parent, but even a relative like an aunt or an uncle.

Unfortunately I live in Washington state where you have to be 18 no matter what. Im not in a rush particularly its just Ive been more interested than usual in them lately.
Anyways if I get something homemade Ill just get something simple and real small in a place that doesnt really matter.

Here is an Idea. Think really hard about what you want tattooed on your body. I mean REALLY HARD before making your best decision. Then when you are 18 go get it professionally done.

Maybe if you asked your parents they would not care? Not sure, but you can atleast ask, they would probably find out anyways.

Homemade isnt recommended.....if your really paranoid about the health and safety, take your own needles and ink.
You can buy your own kit online for like $200, ink is probably a little more.

If you have the money and want a holiday, go to thailand/bali and get one there. They always make sure they use new needles, and they actually open it in front of you to make sure you stay (and pay, they want money, because all they have to pay for is the ink). And most of them are excellent artists, and it's pretty cheap.

dont get one from mexico, some of them may use the same needles, you're ganna get aids..

just wait till your 18 and save up. if you want a nice tattoo you gottah save a nice chunk. this may stay on your body forever, and you wont want a shitty quality one. ive seen ton of shit tattoos, who cares if you get a fucking deal or got hooked up..
