Games People Play Games People Play is where to discuss personal computer, video game console, and arcade hardware and software - be it RPG, Sim, Strategy, Fighting, Action/Platform, or any other category. Although discussion of modern platforms/software will most likely dominate, discussion of classic videogame/computer hardware and software is always enjoyable, and certainly welcome - ESPECIALLY since there are public domain/shareware emulators of nearly every older computer/console available these days. Here's a taste of what awaits you: Nintendo-vs-Sega-vs-Sony, Console-vs-PC-vs-Mac, Hardware spec sheets/information, Industry news and discussion, Software reviews, IRC conference announcements/Reports, Emulators, Emulators, Emulators! ... and much, much more!

Default How much is my _____ worth?

Hey,

I want to know some ballpark figures for some of my stuff. I decided to open this sort of question for everyone to not only answer but to ask the question also.

Please Note I did look these up on ebay with no luck.

So please comment on the following items

1.
Original Legend of Zelda for NES. The cart is as shiny and golden as the day I got it, the box is a little worn but what do you expect for something that is close to 20 years old?!? The map and the booklet I still have...somewhere. The game still remembers saved game states.

2.
Old Magazines. I have some EGMs from 1991, 1999-2001 and some more recent ones. NMS (Nintendo Magazine System Australia...Now disfunct) mags from 1993-1994/95 and some from around 1997-99/2000. I have some 'N64 Gamer' mags (disfunct as far as I can tell), HYPERs and some old (think 1990-1992??) Brittish mags.

3. Original Metal Gear cart for NES. It has a box but no manual (It never had one...we got stiffed obviously!) Very good /Mint condition. I also have a copy of the original book 'metal gear'

4. Terranigma for SNES (I have been told it's rare and in the past have seen it on ebay for the same price I paid for it all those years ago...about 1996-1997 from memory.

Last time I saw Terranigma on eBay it was already up to around $80 with a day or so still going with a raging bid war happening.

I hate R Kelly too, change your username.

I remember playing that game on the SNES, the games were frustrating and the only one I liked was the tomato/egg throwing one.

All depends...

http://cgi.ebay.com/SNES-Game-Sealed...3286.m20.l1116

SEALED never opened Terranigma - 1200$ (holy fuck?)

http://cgi.ebay.com/TERRANIGMA-SUPER...3286.m63.l1177

Opened, used - 30$.

Since you have box and instructions, i'd throw it up for 50$ on ebay.
