I thought this episode was a lot more watchable then the first one, and I'm pretty sure it will end up being a watchable show.

The camera work on the track really needs improving, it looked like the GT was driving around a carpark.

Agreed. It was definitely better than last week's, and for all the doubters, the beginning episodes of euro topgear were just as crap.

Yes. I doubted it like a physicist doubts gravity.

I don't mind that guy drawing crap, it's one of the few things they didn't steal from TGUK.

Its CRAP! If I wanted to see someone draw I'd watch Rolf Harris.

First episode had 950,000 viewers in sydney, they were hoping to break 1m on the second episode but they got about 650,000.

I dont think it'll make a whole series, unless they do it good.

I didn't think it was that bad, it was never going to be as good as the UK version but I still enjoyed it.
I hear the American version will be even worse with Adam Carolla hosting.

Adam Carolla is the only redeeming feature the show might have.

Datsuns are awesome, but so is science, and not all scientists are cool.

Unless you think they are.

You fucking scientist.

After torrenting all the episodes and watching them back to back right now, I have made two observations:

The first episode was god awful.

The improvement curve has shown itself to be steep enough that the show should be really good by the end of the beginning of the second season. If it survives the break and there is one, that is.

That's rapid (especially when a standard season of Top Gear is a mere 6 - 10 episodes)when put into comparison with the real Top Gear.
