 Coke Before Exam?
So, good idea or not?
I have a computer programming exam tomorrow and I'm worried about it. The questions are fill-in-the-blank, and most of the test is "here is the code, what is the output?" style questions. This isn't easy, especially if you haven't been reading the text, going to the exams, or doing badly in the lab...(all true for me)
Yes? No? Maybe (I don't know)?

But if you don't know shit on how to do the problems then you are gonna be sitting there tapping your pencil like a mad man with no way to figure it out.

Better idea: just study as much as you can, do practice questions.
Sounds like a intro or low level CS course, in which case most of the stuff should be pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it.

I did a line of some good coke in the bathroom at the intermission between the 1st and 2nd parts of the SAT back in my junior year, and let me tell you.....I sped through the exam, and had no trouble figuring out the problems I knew...Cant remember what I did about the ones I knew fuck all about.
So, if you know the material, I would say go for it. But make sure you dont come down during the exam...you wanna walk out of there happy as a clam. ;)

Depends how you typically react to cocaine, of course. If you're the type who blows a few good rails and then feel the need to climb the walls, it probably isn't a good idea. Same can be said if you're prone to irritation/aggravation while under the influence, because in that case it may just take one or two tough, frustrating questions to send you into a pseudo-rage with your pencil broken in half and your entire thought process consequently shot.
If you're one of us others, then I'd say it's not a bad idea at all.
Check yr nose, though.

I wouldn't do it. I did once, when I didn't know better, and had a massive comedown by the time the exam started. Ended up not being able to write more than a page (whereas the average is about 8 or 9 pages) and failed the exam.
But what you do is up to you.

Alright, the exam has been completed...
I blew a fairly large line of good quality coke about two hours before to study for an hour and then went to a physics lecture. Right before the test I blew a moderately sized line in the bathroom.
I was "up" for 40-50 minutes, and when I came down it was more like a slow tapering off of the effect instead of a crash and burn (two lines ain't enough for a bad come down). The test was 50 minutes long, so it was perfect. When I came in I was pretty high, during the exam I felt good yet was able to focus on the test, and when I left the classroom most of the high had left but I don't remember "coming down".
Did it help me? Yes, I think so, but not as much as amphetamines helps me study. I had a clearer head than I would have normally, and I was able to stay calm during the test and not freak out or think too fast. But taking the coke too study the material didn't really help as much as it did during the exam. I was focusing more on how good I felt and talking to people instead of reading the book. I feel that coke is not as good a study aid as amphetamines, but it did help during the test.
Would I do it again? Yes.
