i'm about ready to call the hospital......
well my job is to move heavy boxes all day long in a factory...........
now i got in a bad car accident like 7 or 8 months ago and at the hospital they did an MRI on my neck and there was a problem with one of the discs in my neck, nothing major but something at least noticeable.
i was thinking about making an appointment at the doctors and complaining that i strained my neck really bad on the job (of course so i can walk away with a nice prescription at the end of the day)........
do you think theres a good chance of getting some meds? what symptoms could i complain about that would increase my odds of getting something good?
i was thinking aobut saying that it inhibits my ability to fall asleep and i cant turn my neck either way without a lot of pain, but alot of doctors around here seem to be reluctant to give out narcotic scripts.
so can anyone help me out here at all>?

Re: i'm about ready to call the hospital......
Are you sure that your actual neck pain is not muscular. As the "stiff neck" is a common occurrence and can be alleviated via various methods like compresses and stretches.

Re: i'm about ready to call the hospital......
Usually if something is wrong with a slipped disc, they'll give you pain meds. If something's just "not right" with a disc..well... without knowing more about it, I'd say just amplify the pain and say it is radiating. Also mention that it's preventing you from doing your job, about 3% of doctor's can show sympathy, so that's worth a shot.
Best of luck man.

I think for most back/neck strains and such they give muscle relaxers rather than percacet etc. My dad and one of my friends got the same type of muscle relaxer for their back injuries, i don't remember the name right now though.
I would say go in and see what happens, I mean your neck is injured...

This. Most likely Soma. But like most people say, you can try to play it off. But you never know how far that goes.

Yeah, don't try to let them con you into some soma or flexeril shit. Say it's more of a "shooting" pain and they might make them think it's the disc, rather than just the muscle. Might not work, but worth a try

Re: i'm about ready to call the hospital......
Obviously, you cannot fake it but if there is something wrong with the disk and it actually hurts tell the doctor, you should get some half decent pain medication. Just tell them it hurts like fuck constantly.

Hammer + Foot + Determination = Opiates?
Just a theory. You could always give it a whirl?

Or the easier way - money + dealer = heroin. In my experience it's alot easier just to buy some dope. It saves you breaking your foot for some weak ass opes.

I actually had a friend who would eat about 2,400 mg of Neurontin and claim it made him "high". He'd buy these 800 mg horse pills off me for $1 each.
By the way, if a psychiatrist every tries to give any of you 800 mg Neurontin 3x a day for anxiety, there's something wrong with him.

Keep this man as a friend.
Never tell him about the internet.
Endless profit!
