Supernatural
Season 4 started a couple of weeks ago.
I only saw bits and pieces of Season 1, but all of 2 and 3. I'm really enjoying 4 so far...I daresay it's the best season yet from what I've seen. 4x03 is like Back to The Future on demonic steroids...fucking brilliant. I knew they wouldn't keep the Season 3 cliffhanger going for long, but I was glad to see that Dean came back right way.
Anyways, who else watches this? Admittedly, a lot of episodes are rather predictable, monster-of-the-week type things, but the acting is great, the style is awesome, and it never gets old.

Re: Supernatural
I always enjoyed supernatural, the show always seemed more street smart then alot of other tv shows, if that's the word.
and i have to admit i thought it was pretty hard to predict, because there is always some twist in the end, but I guess that because there is a twist in every episode, it starts to get obvious that the obvious thing is not gonna happen...
sam and dean almost make me think of totse users
+ it has a bit of gore, which makes it better

Re: Supernatural
Love the show. Own all three seasons, but never wanted to start a thread about it cause I didn't want to get laughed at. I'm surprised you're watching the new season and only saw parts of the other. Isn't it hard for you to understand what's going on? Most people I've talked to that started watching it mid-season are kinda lost since A LOT has happened. I've always been a fan of horror and the paranormal so this show fits perfectly and okay, two hot guys really doesn't hurt much either. Plus, with the different myths and urban legends mixed with the one liners, it's just a fun show to watch. Shame my bf doesn't like it though, but he knows that every Thursday at nine, computer goes off and tv comes on. I'm a wee bit obsessed, but I admit it.

I love jim beaver, and supernatural does a pretty good job of staying within its means. I think its biggest problem is the fact those two guys always seem like they're about to start making out.

Re: Supernatural
I really like the show. I think the subject matter makes for some great TV and I like how they go through all kinds of legendary creatures and spirits in addition to demons. However, the latest season isn't my favorite so far. A few things bug me about the show in general as well.
I don't really like how they're making Sam some badass that can exorcise demons by simply closing his eyes and holding out his hand. One of my favorite things about this show was the average human aspect of the two of them. Sure Sam had some visions but that wasn't taking it too far off track.
Also, how could Dean have been saying shit like (Paraphrased) "You mean Satan is real? I thought he was just make believe" or "Angels? Like wings and everything Angels? So are you saying theres a God too?" How is it possible that a person has been to Hell and still not think there's a Satan or for that matter a God? I still haven't made sense of that yet.

Well, the whole plot centers around Sam and that yellow demon. Apparently things are nearing the "end-game", so naturally things with Sam will be getting more intense. Speaking of which, is this the last season?

I hope not, but theres only so far they can take their storyline. I have a feeling that it's all going to come down to Dean having to keep his promise to Sam and kill him. I hope it doesn't take that route, you never know with the twists they tend to take. I'm also glad they're involving Jim Beaver more this season. He's one of my favorite characters and I love the way they made him into the father figure for the boys. After reading different interviews and uh, spoilers cause I couldn't help myself after they killed Dean last season, Sam's power are going to go beyond anything we've seen before and I can't wait. I just hope they don't really make him evil....or at least too evil. :-) I know that this season is more about the relationship between the brothers and how things changed since Dean's time in hell so that and Sam's abilities are the main focus.

Yeah, I understand what they're doing concerning Sam and THE demon and I sort of figured something like this would happen. I was just hoping they would keep him a bit more grounded and it would end up being his determination and humanity that ultimately saw them through rather than his powers manifesting in a more profound way.
I also agree that Dean's promise is going to play a big role in the last few episodes. As much as Dean loves and protects Sam it's going to be interesting to see how he actually deals with that situation.

I really like it, but I lost interest before season 3 wrapped up. reason; it was getting really corny.

Re: Supernatural
Love Supernatural! Season 4 so far is pretty kick ass. What was up with all the neck snapping in the BTTF episode!!! Mitch Pileggi is now too scary to watch in stuff.
In Ireland we're only starting season 3 now but SurftheChannel has helped in that regard
Oh yeah and the soundtrack is second to none. All the classics!
And they manage to use mythical and legendary demons without bastardising the myths they're from
