Open Solaris

Been playing around with this Open Solaris 10 for awhile now, wondering if anybody else has had any experience with it. Personally I like it.

what differences are there between it and say....Debian? What made you unsatisfied with GNU/Linux that Solaris has resolved.

I've heard people absolutely love Zfs, but i dont deal with enough data to justify trying it.

I used to use the non-Open Solaris every day. It's a good little system, even if it is SVR4-based.

And all of the GNU utilities and programs can be compiled and installed on Solaris, or they could last I knew.
