alright now i know a lot of people think that people who steal are scum but some thieves like me actually have morals like:

1. i will never shoplift from a mom and pop store no matter what i can get and how easy it is

2. i will never steal from a friend

3. i will not steal from people who i know or even suspect to be poor

Now all the thieves out there i ask you what morals if any that you have

It doesn't matter what (or if) you have morals. All that matters is how you can justify them. That being said I try not to cause more harm to somebody else than benefit to myself.

Why is there this seeming consensus that stealing from successful people is right but stealing from poor people is wrong?

Bah, why should i care about stealing from persons? I take what i want, so i'm a scum now? Although i don't steal from family, or friends, but that's because it would be to much of a hassle when they did find out.
