What does 1 g of weed look like.
Well I dont have scale, and I think I get ripped off every time I buy. So I still dont know what a g looks like. If u could take a pic of a sack u bought, and post it with a label, ie  this is 1 g or an eight), so I can get a good idea of how to weigh weed w/my eyes. That would be a big help. I once bought 2 grams, and the guy gave me 2 bags about dime or penny size. I know thats not 2 grams, but how off is it. Sorry I dont have a camera to post pics of my buys. thanks. |

Should be from two to four or so joints worth ..
Also, a dime coin weighs approximately 1 gram, so if you can compare weights with a makeshift balance like a pen balanced on your finger..

depends if its dry/damp/compacted/loose and leafy. You can't really tell someone how big a gram looks in comparison with anything else. But on the whole it seems that most of my g's have been between the size of a large marble and a large gumball. The latter could possibly be 2 or 3 grams if compacted though. It's too hard to tell, see how many joints you can roll with it, should be at least 2 medium-large sized ones.

I dunno about that.
I personally weigh every amount of weed I buy, just to have a number in mind to gauge how fair a dealer is, or if he's giving me less weed than usual.
My one guy sells a 20 sack of high mids, and it's always between 1.7 and 2 grams, and it's somehow the exact same weed (I've known this dude for nearly a year). That entire bag will roll a nice fat blunt, but thats a blunt to get four+ people nice and stoned, or two serious ass weedsmokers totally high.
A single gram can fill a blunt, but it'll just be a regular modest blunt.
Another way to gauge, is a regular one or two person joint is usually .5gram, at least that's how I roll one. So, a joint thats not pathetic, but not quite a fatty is probably .5.
You should just get a postal scale, it's less incriminating than an electric scale, way cheaper, and it's easy to hide. |

I used to work at a pizza place, and from weighing ingredients for dough I learned that those little plastic cups barely weigh .1gram, if that. Plus, that dude probably tared the cup before he weighed it. That looks like about a gram to me, and it looks like middys. Shit, weed is weed dude. It'll still get you high.
And I call fucking bullshit on Darkus, I highly doubt that is 1.3 grams. You can tell from the size of the nugs and the size of the flaky pieces on the outside of the nugs. I'd like to request that you place the bag next to a quarter, or a peice of currency from whatever country your from, or better yet, take a picture of that bag on a scale.
Maybe I'm wrong and those are just little buds that mislead me, but looks like more than 1.3 to me.
My bad, disregard the comment about those cups weighing little, I thought that was one of those cheap plastic cups that you get ranch sauce and shit in when you order wings, those weigh very little, that looks like it probably weighs a bit more than that.

if its mids/shwagg its going to be weighed down with the stems and seeds
if its some brick its going to look less too
if its headies or high quality shit its going to be mad fluffy

You put the bowl thing on the scale and then reset it back to 0. Then you put the weed on to accurately measure it (with the bowl thing on and reset, the scale will measure 0).

You cannot tell weight by looking at a picture, too many factors in that. Some buds are VERY dense and some are VERY light, some have more stem than others, some are still damp.
Buy a letter(gram) scale at office depot, they start at like 10$.
