a bad idea i did
my neighbor has a light that turns on and off with a motion sensor that shines right in my bedroom window. just like in that stupid movie lake view terrace.
but instead of me handling it like in that movie i just simply went over there and took both light bulbs. most of you would have made a thread titled something like 'i need to fuck with my neighbor, ideas?'
my point is that a lot of threads here in B.I are pointless space taking things. regular people know how to do it and do it when it needs to be done.
anyways, do you think the neighbor is gunna retaliate?
do you think the c.i.a is gunna dust for prints?
do you think anyone gives a fuck?

Re: a bad idea i did
They may replace the lightbulb a few times, but keep at it and they'll get the idea eventually.

i was thinking if i were them i would glue the thing's in. if they do this i will cover the bulbs in a spray paint type rubber or put duct tape on it so they get the point. it's been a day and a half since i did it. [i just made the thread later] but they haven't replaced them. i doubt they will any time soon because the owner doesn't live there. he rents the whole apartment building out.
as a added bonus to myself i added one of his light bulbs to my motion sensor lights, that face down and are right across his lights by like 15 feet.

That's the basic idea, yes. Or fill in the spot where the bulbs go with glue.

THEY wouldnt glue the bulbs in, because then they couldnt replace them when they burn out. But YOU should glue some burned out bulbs into the sockets. They'll have to replace the whole thing, and those arent cheap.

Re: a bad idea i did
Make them into bombs...? So drill them and fill them up with gunpowder or other explosive is what you're saying and screw them back in? That way when you screw them in and MOVE they blow up in your face...? Tell you what, you go do that, I'll stick with my BB gun that way I don't have to leave my nice comfy house.

Re: a bad idea i did
Right, because wet bulbs asplode.
I say just glue dead bulbs in. They cant remove them (unless you did a shitty glue job) and it wont look like someone intentionally filled their lamp with glue.

if they glue them in, then that works in your favor as all you have to do is break the bulb, and then not only do they have to replace it, but they also need to remove the bulb as well (which im guessing will be harder if it is glued in).

The neighbors will no doubt call the CIA, and when they do dust for fingerprints, they will definitely be able to compare the fingerprints near/on the motion light apparatus to all of the prints in their database. Since your fingerprints are naturally in their database from that other time when they found your prints and put them with your name and photo ID and residency when they took them off your locker at school under the cover of darkness, they'll find you and make you go to prison for several years once you're convicted of grand larceny for the two insanely valuable light bulbs you took (which will be easy once your parents forgo their rights and allow the police to search the trunk compartment on your car-themed twin bed and find both lightbulbs with your fingerprints on them).
God, you're so fucking stupid.

Alright, enough with the spray. These are outdoor lights and are made to withstand sudden water. Also, light bulbs do not explode, they implode.
Outdoor lights have thicker glass so when it rains, the rapid cooling effect of water drops hitting the warm glass does not crack the glass. Inside the glass there is a vacuum, so if rapid cooling by water cracked the glass, the damaged structure of the bulb would not be able to handle the difference in pressure and would IMPLODE.

yeah a channel lock at the base of the bulb would never work against glue.
And if they miraculously figure out that some hooligan glued them, they probably wouldn't even be able to find or afford glue solvent. Actually, i hear it doesn't even exist in the US anymore because of aliens and stuff.

Actually, despite your attempt to sound intelligent, the bulbs would explode, not implode. Bulbs are not vacuums, that would be expensive. They are filled with an inert gas. Kill yourself, faggot.
EDIT: Also, it doesn't matter because the effect would be the same in both cases: the bulb would no longer work, glass would be everywhere, and a loud noise would be made. I still maintain my previous position of: "kill yourself, faggot."

Re: a bad idea i did
If you want proof that light bulbs are not empty then touch a bulb when it's been running for a while. Heat cannot be transferred from the element to the glass in a vacuum.

I'm sorry, but are you a fucking Moran?
I think everyone understood that the 'cia' line was a shot at people who always ask dumb questions like 'do you think the police will dust for prints?'
they still haven't replaced the light bulbs. but i got a few good ideas like

that my friend is a real good idea.
oh and water can't break those lights. they are made for the outdoors.

i wanted to ask him but i knew it would be too much of a hassle for him just to accommodate his neighbor so i just took it.
they can't move much. they just move a little bit but it still shines on my window. he would have to install them facing down to light up the stairs instead of my window.
but really who is the bastard here? he knows it shines on my window and has never given a fuck to move it. the motion censor lights i have don't bother no one.
