 Hookah coal
So I went and bought some hookah coals earlier, and then went to this nice resturant and enjoyed some damn good food and two 10 dollar beers that were like gods piss then got home and realized I DIDN'T HAVE MAH COALS MANG!!! After my "oh noes" I went back to the headshop... Apparently they're closed after 4:30 on fridays. :(
But man, it's been like 3 months since I've smoked some fine tabacoo out of my hookah and I really really need to. I got some folks comming over who would also enjoy it. I NEED TO SMOKE HOOKAH! Anyway, could a fucking chunk of charcoal work? Don't see why not, it just doesn't have that crazy ignition sparky layer on the surface of it. So charcoal? Go, or no go?
(and I figured this would be the best place to ask for obvious reasons, although I do use mine completely legally.)

one way i've always lit coal that did have that sparker shit was set it on a fork and light from the bottom.

Don't do it, its horrible for your health, pure carbon monoxide. The only option is to try some of the "natural" hardwood coals they sell at Wal-Mart and such.
