Is it normal for stupid people to know they're stupid?
I'm not talking retarded, more about someone able to cope in society (to some extent) but mentally incapable of simple math (eg. 6x8) and so on, I make obvious mistakes, silly errors at work that no normal person would do. I can't remember anyones name, if you tell me something nearly half the time I don't remember it. I could be having a conversation with someone and forget their last question and (with it the answer) right before I go to answer it, then have no answer. I get lost easily, and don't know left from right unless I associate it with something ie. my left hand making a L. When I look back on my life, what I remember of it, I've done nothing but fuck myself over again and again with my own idiocy.
In school teachers told me "You're smart, if you try, blah, blah" the most generic statement to have ever left their mouths. The most insulting as well for me as I was in fact trying my hardest. Parents, teachers, even some peers repeated the same shit. I'm not sure if they were trying, but they fucked me up. Over and over, everyone was trying to push me, telling me I could do better if I tried, trying to encourage me I suppose. I'd write an essay and the teacher would keep me after class and tell me how "if I tried" I could do better, although I put full effort into that essay. It had a inverse effect. I stopped trying. If my best wasn't enough, why bother?
Dropped out of school in grade 10, I've been working shit jobs since. Looking back over the past 7 or 8 years of my life I've come to accept the fact that I'm stupid. I'm considering purchasing nootropics off the net - but google displays a bunch of shady looking sites and I don't feel like throwing my money away to some scam artist. Seeing how nootropics are legal, I hope its not a problem asking for a legit site to purchase quality Piracetam and/or Aniracetam.
Does anyone know of any such online pharmacies?
