CYP2C9 and getting stoned for a while, cause I'm bored..
I remember a while ago, someone suggesting inhibiting the CYP2C9 that one could get stoned for a long ass time.
Anyway, it says that some crackas might not be able to take effect of it. Also, if they have hardly any CYP2C9 ability and or none, would they not get stoned for a very long time?

Re: CYP2C9 and getting stoned for a while, cause I'm bored..
well dude, your gonna need to get yourself 800mg of cimetidine
TAKE them 45 min before toking on EMPTY sto-MACH, and you will be good to go, it works to an extent. the high is noticeably longer.
if your into neurochemistry just check out some old threads, or google info on other inhibitiors. there are other receptors like CYP2C9 ya know.

God how I wish there was 100% reliable and inclusive information on enzymes and their inhibitors. Just try researching the best combination of chemicals to take to enhance your weed high. It's madness.

Inconsistent with several other (much more reputable) sources.

Sure, but it has to be the proper kind of grapefruit juice (high in citronene or something). That fact I could find in several other reputable sources, but unfortunately grapefruit juice is not as broad an inhibitor as cimetidine.
However, you could go try both in a controlled study for the sake of science!

Try it with white grapefruit juice, nowarning has a thread on this where he shows how it potentiates opiates, but it should work basically the same for cannabis. Get whatever kind he says.

^I could be wrong, but I think the active compound in grapefruit juice is quercetin, which can be purchased as a standalone supplement through various supplement vendors online.
It works. One might invest in some Bioperine as well while one is at it.

I didn't know that, thanks! It looks both of them only inhibit 3A4 though, and not 3A5. It would definitely be worth experimenting upon though. My friend has been giving out various enzyme inhibitors to the marijuana-smoking population at his school in order to try to determine the best combination scientifically. He'll be doing some real research on these soon enough and will present his results here.
