Now I know this has been asked a million times, but I need some reassurance. I have a drug test tomorrow morning for my new job. I haven't smoked pot since the first of last month, but I haven't been drinking large amounts of water either. Is there any chance I'll test positive?

Sorry for the redundant question. I'm just a bit tense about the whole ordeal.

But since I'm feeling generous. The amount of water you drink throughout the month matters not. It's only the amount you drink a day or two prior to the test. Remember, you're not cleaning out your system by drinking a lot of water, you're simply diluting the metabolites they test for. Drink as much as you can stomach tonight and tomorrow see if you can pick up some Vitamin B supplements (the ones with more than simply B, but also specifically B12) to color your urine.

Edit: Also, I don't think you'll have any problem if it's been a month since you last smoked, as long as you drink plenty of water. Was it a habitual use that stopped or a one-time use last time you smoked?

I smoked every day for about 3 years, quit for a week, then had one last bowl at a party almost exactly a month ago.

I would say you're relatively safe. Couldn't hurt to drink a lot of water and get some vitamins in you anyway.

Are you sure the piss will look natural if you take all those vitamins? I used to take those a while back for some odd reason I can't remember and it would make my piss all dark brown and shit. Ah well. Probably better than nothing. Thanks!

Were you drinking a regular amount of water then? The only point of the vitamins is to color it, and there's gonna be a lot of piss to color if you're drinking as much as you should be.

And I highly doubt that they'd reject dark piss, especially over clear piss. If they ask, just say you've been taking some multi-vitamins lately to supplement your diet.
