Poppy seed question
im looking at informational tools to proceed in a drop outs science project
http://basementshaman.stores.yahoo.n...somoppops.html
Would that produce enough tar to smoke?
You just split the seeds open and remove the gunk
sounds pretty simple would this be the only thing i need to order if i intended to make this?

Re: Poppy seed question
The seeds don't contain the "gunk" you're speaking of. It's all in the pods. What you can do with the seeds is make a nice Poppy tea. This varies from batch to batch however so you'll need to be a little careful. Dosage is about 300-500mg per person per batch of tea I'm not going to go into how exactly because google knows exactly how. You could also use the search function in this forum, I'm positive there's another thread or two about this.

Re: Poppy seed question
as someone said the seeds contain alkaloids on the outside of the seeds due to the fact when the poppy is still ripe and healthy the seeds are jammed inside all of that opium goo, of course this sticks and some absorbs into the seed itself but obviously in very small amounts.
You need like, 2 cup fulls to get a decent alkaloid content.
