Default Opiate Tolerance

So tonight I plan to snort an 80 mg OxyContin. Yesterday night I railed around 50 mg's off a 60 mg or so chunk of Oxy, and did the remaining 10 mg's about 3-4 hours ago. What kind of tolerance will this produce in relation to the 80 mg's I want to do tonight. I plan to follow the opiate potentiation formula as much as I can, considering I only have a few of the things it lists, benadryl, aleave, some white grape fruit juice.

Anyways, some quick answers like, "considering your tolerance, the 80 mg's insulfated will feel like 60 mg's if you had no tolerance". Something like that so I can put it into perspective.

How often do you use opes?

The DXM in N0 W4rn1ng's formula is useful due to the fact that it's supposed to help keep your tolerance low. Don't know how valid that is..but that's the way he looks at it.

Drugs affect people differently..even if they have the same general effects. One person's tolerance may jump a small bitfrom a single days heavy use of OC while others may notice no change. I wouldn't worry about your tolerance tonight though ..especially if before last night you hadn't used in a while. 80mg railed should feel like 80mg railed.

I wish you were a mod when I was on totse a year ago vilbe. That is what troubles me, I wan't the pure noddy warm feeling. I hate being stuck at the level of warm and fuzzy but not the floaty heavenly feeling, which is what I'm aiming to get to tonight.

As for how often, when I did the 50 mg's yesterday, that was the first time doing oxy in 10 days, however I had done around 1.5 mg's of suboxone on saturday night.

It might be worthy to note that around 14 month's ago I was doing oxy several times a day in doses ranging from 20-80 mg's. My tolerance was so high that 240 mg's produce nothing but a mild fuzz for 5-10 minutes.

Considering all of that, I wouldn't expect it to take you all the way to the heavenly high you felt the first handful of times you did it. You will get really warm and fuzzy but beyond that it all depends on how long your body holds tolerance. I doubt 10 days is enough to rid you of it to a considerable extent though.

Well ten days ago was my last time using oxy before yesterday, but when I did it ten days ago, I hadn't done it for a week, my opiate use is kept low, 1-2 times a week at most, usually less.

The only way to find out for sure is to go for it. Everyone is different to one degree or another. Definitely snort the entire 80mg (IMO) because that's what it's gonna take. If you have any more and choose to dose again just give it some time before stacking.

Of course, :P...

Anyways last night, I started with 30 mg's. 5 Minutes later I thought, I should do 5 mg's more, I want to get really high tonight instead of just a little high and save more for later. Then 5 more minutes later, I wasn't that high, so I did 5 mg's more, then 10 minutes later another 5, etc, till I had done 50-55 mg's. That's probably why the high wasn't very strong during one single period. I just remember doing oxy the first few times, 20 mg's got me rocked, 30 mg's or more and I was puking, this was when I had little to no tolerance and was very new to opiates.

Anyways I did all but 10 mg's, 35 mg's or so in each nostril. I already feel a light airy feeling coming on. I can usually judge by the comp up how strong the high is going to be, and this one is going to be pretty strong.

And yeah, the chase is something I don't want to get into again. I wouldn't call what I'm doing chipping, at least not by my definition. I was physically addicted to oxy pretty heavily, went to detox, relapsed, went through detox again, then got sent away to a residential treatment program designed to be a 6-9 month stay, in which stayed for 8 months. The program and its series of stages and levels was pretty brutal at times.

I got back around 5 months ago, and started occasionally using oxy about a month ago. I know how horribly it can fuck me, and believe me I by no means think I'm strong enough to control it, so I do what I can by keeping it to an infrequent use. I have to much going in my life right now, starting to learn the family car business, starting with parts/recon. I currently have straight A's and only 3 more classes to finish before I can graduate high school, whereas all my senior friends have 6 or so. I was also accepted into a school founded by our states largest newspaper distributer for journalism and communication. I am also looking at colleges I might want to attend for political science, business, and journalism.

My future is too important to me to throw away, and I already know its a big step backwards to start using at all. I apologize for my life's story, sometimes once I get on a subject, I just keep going til I run out of things to say.

Thanks for the info/reassurance guys, but you'll have to excuse me, there's a dragon I must be catching.

After 15 minutes I killed off the remaining 10-15, I'm pretty high but nothing extraordinary. Feels like what a 35-40 used to feel like the first few times I ever did oxy.

Least you got something out of it right? Did you potentiate? I'd recommend doing that every time and don't leave out the DXM. As I stated above that's supposed to support a low tolerance in one way or another.

hey man heres a tip, incase you got high quite often at home back in the day. get high somewhere new. situational tolerance i suspect, lasts longer than physical. your minds psyching you up for the high before you even cut the first line...

Yeah, the psyche thing is definitely noticeable. I will try new situations/places if possible. I usually wait till night time when my parents are asleep because after putting me through detoxification twice and sending me away for 8 months, they can tell right away by my pinpoint eyes if I am high on it, and I was already caught once since being back, however that blew over fast and they're already starting to trust me again. Come Saturday, I will buy another 80, and my friend will pick one up for himself too. I will get the OK to go over a friends for the day. I'll try and plan it so I can go over his house around 1-2 p.m. do the oxy, probably 40 mg's eaten, then when it starts to kick in, rail the other 40 mg's and plan on leaving around 7-8 p.m. So question, will my pupils be normal size again after 6-7 hours? If they will be, then I should be all set for Saturday. I also don't have any DXM to use for potentiation, only benadryl and aleave, I didn't even have any white grapefruit juice left for tonight, however I will pick up all the ingredients for saturday. Could someone locate the opiate potentiation formula for me? I can't seem to find it. Thanks doodz.

And yeah I definitely got something out of it, I am already back down now, although very noddy (haha naughty). It lasted a good hour to hour an a half, and at the peak it felt like 40 mg's use to feel when I was first trying opiates. I did get pretty fucking high, although nothing spectacular. I have another 80 left over but I didn't want to use anymore then one 80 tonight because oc's are expensive as hell where I live (60-65$ per pill, usually 60$), and I wanted to save the next one for tomorrow. I won't be doing anymore till Saturday after the last one is gone tomorrow, hopefully my tolerance will clear up a little between tomorrow and Saturday (I will only have done 160 mg's over the span of two days, I don't think it will jack up my tolerance enormously or anything). Anyways thanks again guys and an early thank you to whoever finds me the potentiation thread.

Dude, you've already been to rehab 3 times and you're still fucking with oxy? You cant really think that this time will be any different. Just stop now. Dont buy any more. Dont do any more. Walk away.

Wait until after college. when you have a good job and can afford a moderate addiction. Better yet, wait until you're retired. Then you can be high 24/7 and, provided you're saved, not have to worry about anything. Dont throw everything away now. You're too young.

Its a conscious decision to use. With your history you are choosing to self destruct. Do you really want to put yourself and your family through that again?

Just walk away.

I already have a good job and can support an addiction if I wanted to. You don't think I've already taken everything into consideration? It's not rehab three times the way your saying it... There is a local center for drug addiction treatment, very close to my house actually. I went there the day after I first got caught, was put on subutex while they manufactured my subutex dose schedule, (they put it into small gummies so you don't know how much your taking, its something new this place recently patented).

Anyways, after 2 months on that, I was getting into the really low doses, and was beginning to feel kind of depressed/void of caring or interest in anything, so I bought an OC. Eventually I got back into it for about a month albeit not even close to as severely, nor was I doing it for a long enough time during the second time to become anything more then moderately addicted. I was told that should I relapse I would be sent away to a treatment center. After I told them I relapsed again, my subutex dose was upped back to somewhere near the original 2 mg gummies, twice a day (one 2 mg gummy in the morning, one 2 mg gummy at night). This time though the doses decreased a lot faster, in about two weeks they switched the chemical in the gummy from buprenorphine to naltrexone (opiate blocker, look it up) without me knowing. I was on that about a week before they told me they switched it. Then they took me off the gummies and gave me an injection of time release naltrexone, it would keep it so that I could not use opiates for 21 days, I was sent away about a week after that.

The treatment center is nothing like a drug rehabilitation clinic or anything. It is a resedential treatment facility. Some kids that were sent there had never even done a single drug, they were just bratty kids and there parents didn't have the parenting skills or whatever, to fix there kid on their own. Anyways it is a 6-9 month program, I was there 8 months. Its done on a level system, levels 1-4. 1 is the lowest were you get no privileges, do labor all day, 2 hours of school, and shitty food, level 2 you get a better breakfast, 3 hours of school, a bit less work, level 3 you move up to this huge farmhouse. You live in a somewhat normal community, have chores, take care of horses, etc. Level 4, you have all privileges, stay up a half hour later then everyone else, can make whatever you want to eat for breakfast, sit on couches etc. Eventually you go on a home visit for 5-7 days to see how you do, come back for 2-3 weeks, then graduate.

Anyways I had been home for 4 months before trying oxy again. I have already made the decision. At the moment I am not physically or mentally addicted. I know what it means to fuck around with this shit, especially after falling victim to it once before. I am not going to let myself fall back into that (I know that's what all addicts say) but I mean it, my future is to important to me. Anyways I do appreciate the advice because it is true the best thing for me to do is to never touch that stuff again, but I have already made the personal decision so nothing here will change my mind. Thank you though.

Alright man I didnt mean to ofend you or anything. I've just seen a lot of people lose their souls when they had great opportunities.

If i can reccomend something though. Keep your drug use on a schedule. like only one 1st and 15th or something. Thats what i do to be sure my ope use doesnt get out of control. (although with my back and a standing prescription its hard to differentiate between "getting high" and living in comfort sometimes :P )

Yeah I used to try schedules, they fucked me over in the end. Instead of an exact schedule I just tell myself, "Ok last night I got very high, no more until the end of the week, period" Then I stick to it at all costs. My other favorite thing to do, is a shit load of food and have a cigarette, so usually I look forward to that. Basically once I know I am not doing oxy until the end of the week or until next week, I don't usually crave it. I go with my secondary relaxing routine, go to work, do my work while thinking of how great its going to be to go home and sit on the couch until I get all sleepy, then take a nap. I usually eat some greasy, heavy food before hand. Like a BLT with a lot of potato chips, or bacon, fried hash browns, and fried eggs in the bacon grease, or some pizza with whatever toppings I want at the time. I usually eat as much of it as I can, have a cigarette, then put on some CNN or MSNBC and watch it (I love the news) til I get nappy and fall asleep on the couch, sometimes I skip the cigarette all together if I'm to lazy. Its a very relaxing and enjoyable routine, very comforting to know once I get home I'll be able to do it. I haven't been eating as much food lately due to the oxy, but its mostly because of the anxiety I get if I know I'm picking some up later, like "I hope she still has some left once I call, or, I hope I can find an excuse to leave, etc." In turn I lose my appetite, that's why I've been buying 2 at a time. I can buy 2 at the beginning of the week, do some on Tuesday and maybe Wednesday, and still have one left over. Then I can enjoy my eating routine without the thought of having to get an oxy on my mind.

It's been working well so far and I am happy and content with my life and eager for my future. My family relations are pretty good considering I was caught with some oxy about 3 or 4 weeks ago, after my parents put me through the detox and treatment. My mom is still worried, she listened in on one of my cell conversations and read a few of my text messages I forgot to delete, she doesn't anymore because last time she did she heard me mention "some drug for 15$" and "meeting up with *insert dealer's name here*" and read a text message saying something like "Nah, he want's them for 15$ so can I get em' for 10$ so I can make 5 bucks?" So she thinks I am either doing stuff occasionally or just hooking a friend up, I try to hint that its weed cause she won't care nearly as much if its weed, and she doesn't mention any of that to my dad because he has enough on his plate with his car dealership losing money due to our poorly functioning economy. However I never come home with constricted pupils or glossy eyes, I still eat well, go to work on time, go to my private journalism class once a week, do school work, etc. so she usually thinks I've been clean. I even offered to take a drug test (I hadn't done anything for a week so I was sure I was clean), once she refused I told her to spring one on me as a surprise so I can't make sure I'm clean, and she still said she doesn't want to do that, and I really don't think she will ever drug test me again. I turn 18 in a month so they are leaving my decisions up to me and hoping I make the right ones (well most of the rights ones) and that I make sure to keep working towards the future I want for myself.

Sorry for the long response, no hard feelings anyways dude, I took what you said the right way, even though it was a bit forceful, obviously you are giving me good advice. Anyways I am keeping everything in line well for now and I plan to keep it in line as long as I keep doing opiates occasionally.
