The article says it all I guess. I actually had high hopes for this game, but perhaps this was for the best. Personally I think a C&C FPS would work better set in the time period of Tiberian Dawn or Tiberian Sun. I guess mods are the only thing to look to now if any of you want to play a modern C&C FPS game.

I read about this in Game Informer today, the current issue stating that at the time of the mag's release such was just a rumor. Oh well.

That would be pretty fucking sweet. I know there's a Crysis total conversion mod in development for a Renegade type game. It might come out in the next 7 years... 
Only thing I hate about total conversions is that they take so long to develop.
