Until you kind of snap back into reality and realize what you are doing, but then you go ahead and pop a few more and in no-time get distracted by your carpet, thinking you are god overlooking the surface of earth, plucking lint for an hour...

one thing to watch out for with Ambien is definitely the pronounced effect of amnesia. A friend of mine broke up with his girl over the phone after taking two, and didn't remember it at all until she called him back up the next day.

My mom's perscribed these, so I snatched a few once. A 20mg dose didn't really do anything for me besides make me feel tired like it should. I did a really shitty trip report on it here

Ya if you take it make sure your with someone else whos not on it so they can tell you what happened the next day. Unfortunately my friends all had the urge to buy some from me and well did it last weekend. None of us totally remember the real order of events or where exactly everything happened.

I see kids do alot of stupid shit on it but I usually just get real chill and kick it.

Cigarettes are a must on it though because of the process of it all. Such a calming ritual.

Beware of random falling asleep. I've fallen asleep in the middle of the circle with my friends having to shake me so I could hit the bowl.

EDIT: Some of the things I remember from yesterday is, climbing under the gate of a gated neighborhood to walk around the block and leave. After that I had this urge to go to some forest I've only been to once in my life. I somehow find my way there with my sober friend because I had this image in my head it's some beautiful place to go and finish my trip. It's really a fucking swamp and I ended up ankle deep in mud, getting torn apart by sticker bushes. After that we find some other gated community and we proceed to try and find a way into the newly built townhomes. We were unsuccessful thankfully and after that I sobered up.

Amnesia gets bad if you take to many, just like benzos...and sometimes you will only take a few then wake up the next morning with an empty bottle, if that happens you have suffered from the "Benzo Induced Chronic Pill Popping" (yes, i know ambien isn't a benzo..but this scenario happens often while under the influence of benzos) You think you only took a few, but soon you are blacked out eating them like skittles...I used to be prescribed them and I abused them alot...Smoke alot of dank with around 20-30mg you'll be tripping...I one time saw the stars on my roof turn into and move around like a snake...Also one time i was zoned out in my bed looking at my hand and all my fingers turned into soldiers with helmets on standing in line...There is also a lot of double vision...You won't see things that aren't there, but if you zone out on a object it will morph into something else...You will also get some weird thinking...If im trying to go to sleep, sometimes i'll be talking to myself in my head or hearing voices...nothing too strong though, and its kind of impossible to really have a bad trip...don't take my word on it though, cuz one time i took to much and was trying to sleep but i kept talkin to people in my head (kinda bothersome when you need your rest)...There's no harm in taking them, its not too strong of a drug and you won't freak out or anything..its a pretty pleasent high actually...Happy Pill Popping

I feel it is a very ghost-like drug. by means of "seeing" the people that arnt really there. Its really fucked up because if your with 2 other people you think your with 5!

I could see it recreational but I don't find it very comfortable. Especially considering when I have taken it, I wanted sleep. So I guess the trick is to pass out before you start feeling out of it, lol.

Anyways, most of the visuals I had were open-eye. It's crazy what your mind can visualize when your in the dark and staring at a mirror. For me, wallpaper has the tendency to twirl a bit. (if there's something on the wallpaper, like a flower or some shit).

I mainly remember staring at a giant mirror next to the couch I was laying on. I was looking at the mirror and my reflection's mouth was moving really fast even though mine wasn't. Just weird shit like that mainly.

I have not taken more than 20 mg though.

The natural state that I could most easily compare ambien is lucid dreaming. I've had instances of being able to "control" certain objects by concetrating on them and making them "float" while under the influence of ambien. Although I'm admittedly no expert in neuroscience, my theory is that you are essentially dreaming while you are awake while under the influence of ambien and like drugs, and that the hallucinations that come passing the "fifteen minutes awake" mark into the dreamlike ambien state is essentially the brain entering into a relaxed dream state while the body is still functioning.

Cause most people dont take 100 mg at a time, and get (or think theyre getting) the sleep they want from just 10 mg. And those of us that like more Ambien for other reasons are not gonna cause problems for the pharm companies most of the time. I know what you mean though its fucked up for a "sleeping pill" to fuck with your mind to the extend of almost a hallucinogen. At least it sedates you while you trip and you can tend to forget some or all of the trip.

Taking this shit back in HS senior year I was taking notes on Hamlet. I look at my notes the next day an it gets more an more illegible till finally I write that "he gets the moonjuice" ( I think I was talkign about when someone pours something in Hamlet's father's ear an poisons him?). But yeah I was fucked for that English test, an the Dexedrine I was on at the time was of no help whatsoever an only made me understand more as to how fucked I was on the test.

ambien is fucking insane, the only time i managed to stay up long enough to trip was when I took it with meth though. take a strong upper unless your good at staying awake when your exhausted (i'm definitely fucking not). In retrospect I don't know why it wasn't terrifying (little people climbing a pole nxt to my keyboard as I wondered what the fuck was going on, seeing myself with a pyramid shaped chest in the mirror, watching the tiny green aphids crawl all over my skin) but your just so confused that you can enjoy the random world around you rather then be scared.

i think ambien kind of acts like a benzo and depresses your nervous system...So your free of bad anxiety while trippin..awesome

It is just as recreational as DXM or diphen, just alot more pleasent IMO; Now would it be my first drug of choice? Absolutley not. But there is definatley recreational qualities associated with it.

ehh ambien, obviously not the greatest dug by any means, could be considered rec. IMO at least. id choose pretty much anything over it, including DXM, but still.

it does have some mild euphoria, semi-benzolike qualitys, visuals (in certain cases).

and lets not forget its use as a sleep aid! ooooh boy

but like i said before, id choose pretty much anything over it. only reason ive abused it is because ive got a script for actual insomnia. this defintly isnt a drug worth faking a condition over, although it is pretty easy to do.
