Cool ATM skimming

its not a question of how but how much
which carries the least risk a device that will work for a few hours while your near buy keeping an eye on it or a device that will run for days and you will stop in to swap the batteries every 3 or 4 days.

obviously with the longer out time the more cards you would get and the more money but iwth the shorter out time you ahve less chance of getting cought or having cops waiting when you return to pick up the device.

I think the best option is a device that sends the data and video to an external storage spot then you jsut consider the device gone you let it run and never go back to get it. but with one of these set ups costing around 500 bucks is this worth it?

so totse which method would you use and when would you draw the line and say you have enough money?

I'd take the investment. Because you can pull about 300$ off each card at a time, you easily recoup the cost of it, and 500$ to not have a criminal record is not a bad price to pay. You could even tell some kid you'll give him 50$ to go grab it, and then watch through binocs and disappear if anything fishy happens. Being paranoid, I'd put it in a metal box just incase they'd snuck a tracker into it, but afaik they haven't pulled this yet (or atleast they haven't caught anyone this way yet).

@ slacker - there are websites like totse, only for people who aren't as newb as &t tends to attract. That's where you get these things.

so I had a idea while thinking about the atm skimming thing. in highschool we used to jam a buncha crap into the change slot of a vending maching then later we would come back for the cash.
Why not do that with an ATM, one of the ones that has the little tray that it flips the cash into, just jam a solid hunk of plastic in there with a little dab of JB weld to hold it leave for an hour or so then come back and yank it out

every time I have used an ATM and it dident work I tried at least one more time then I called the bank or talked to the guy at the counter of the shop it was in.
they usually appoligised and said they would call maintenace. who knows how long it takes them to show up, but in the mean time you come back and yank out the plastic and bam, maybe a hundred bucks.

if there's anyone one here that has a good knowledge of this and wouldn't mind sharing more info with me privately e-mail me at ajk431@yahoo.com to me this just sounds like gold. looking around a bit and it doesn't look like it cost too much to get it all set up and you'd easily make your investment back in a day. plus its unheard of around here.

a thin plastic / strip of negatives can be bent into a v and inserted to catch the card, then you come by and grab the card afterwards... I don't know the type of atm your talking about though. All of mine feed it sideways all at once through a slot.

@ newb/slacker - darkmarket was one, but since the arrest of Cha0... Look around, lurk, and you'll get there.
