last weekend the FAIR!!! came to my town, which is in england.

this is the only time there are large crowds around for the whole year.

I was walking up the crowded street leading to the fair which had stalls selling crap on either side. and there were large crowds standing in front of the stalls restricting the flow of people.

now I'm used to crowded night markets and late night hustle and bustle, but the townies were clearly confused and angered by the close proxzimity of so many people. as my gf and i started to push past through the crowd, a large fat tough-guy turned round and screamed "STEP BACK! BEFORE I SMACK YOU!!!" I looked at him quizzically, as everyone stared at him. then he added half apologetically explaining his outburst "it's rude to push through, there's a queue" he then realised the total idiocy of what he was saying, as the situation was blatently a scrum, and not a queue.

my gf then pushed him hard and barged past him, he turned round gave her a look like he was about to perform a mortal combat style FATALLITY!!and screamed "DON'T PUSH IT's RUUUUDE" my gf who is the size of this guys breakfast, stared him down and said "You pushed me!" in a loud voice, people cheered and laughed. he realised he was in a no-win situation and said nothing. I quickly grabbed my gf by them arm and dragged her away before she escalated the situation still further as she had a wicked gleam in her eye that means trouble.

jesus, you guys are detached from reallity. i only fight when i can win. this guy was at least twice as heavy as me, his arms were bigger than my legs. life is not a computer game.

if i'd followed your logic, i would have spent the evening being patched up in an ambulance making police statements instead of spending it at the fair with my friends.
