My grandma wakes up in the morning at 5-6 every weekday to make coffee for my mom and dad who work that early. she was the 1st woman to work in an electric company in puertorico (& maybe the world idk) putting up and fixing wires on posts. she makes the best food (everyone says so) and cleans the house almost daily (sweeping, dishes,no dishwasher, ect.) shes been living with us for about 13 years now ever since she broke a leg doing something.

My grandma used to teach me how to bake when I was younger. She'd help me with my frosting techniques, too. When I was in kindergarten she used to put a sheet of wax paper on the table and draw shapes with a marker over it, and let me try to make designs over those shapes with frosting.

One is very well off money wise but doesn't spend any. She is happy to live on thousands of acres of land alone and just chill in her little tin hut thing. Wakes up very early and is always asleep by 6:00 at the latest. Likes animals. Hippy-esq.

Other one is very straight edge but chill with other people doing shit, she doesn't drink or smoke either plant but won't care if your drinking a pint and toking a blunt beside her. Lives in a brickhouse in front of the ocean. Taught me how to cook a lot of baked goods, biscuts, cakes etc. Used to take me for walks along the beach when I would visit.

My dear grandma on my mother's side was the sweetest lady you had ever known. Rest her soul.

My grandma on my father's side is a very loving lady, however I can't see her often and I don't speak much Arabic so we can't communicate with many words, but the love is there.

I'm lucky enough to have several grandmothers.

One grandmother provided advice and wisdom when it was needed, as well as offering a place to live when it was necessary. She gardens, paints, reads, and travels. She's a wonderful woman. She's Canadian.

Another grandmother saw to it that I had someone to take care of me when there was nobody else around. She made sure that I had quality food to eat and didn't lose myself in a party-lifestyle. She cooks full three course meals from scratch on a daily basis and worked as a jeweler for many years; she has a wonderful work ethic. She's Hungarian.

Still another grandmother can't remember how to spell my name, but she never forgets to say hello and inquire after me. She's tiny and sweet; though, surprisingly sheltered. She's French-Canadian.

The one still left alive is a great person to have a conversation with. She treasures me, because before me, she had nothing but granddaughters.

My dad's mom is a recluse and barely talks to anyone. My mom's mom has Alzheimer's and lives in an "assisted living" place and has no idea who any of us are. However, that may be a good thing considering she used to be a teacher and would quiz me on world maps constantly when I was younger.

My grandma is a bipolar insomniac. She can't cook, and yells at me all the time, while she showers my sister with money. Lately since she's had her hip replaced she's been on a lot of pain killers, so she's been kind of weird and a little more happy then usual.

i vaguely remember my grandma coming to visit me from Colombia when i was about 5 years old for a few days. she died about a year later.

Mine are both great, ones basically just like a teenager, completely open and really doesn't give a shit what any of me or my cousins do as long as we're not being stupid. My other ones really supportive and mothers me a damn lot. One of my great grandmas is a traditional old lady great woman and the other one is a crazy bitch who's got a few screws loose because of my great grandad beating her.

One's dead, the other is senile and isn't long for the world. I never really met my grandmother who died, and the other one was always nice enough. She's Italian, and used to be able to cook really good food.
