MTV's Busted
This is relevant to BLTC because most of the episodes of this show involve some kind of 'drug crime' like possession or underage drinking.
Has anyone noticed how this program is a complete propaganda brainwash for the youth? Not to mention it's the most white trash show ever, it tries to portray LEO's as friends of the people when in reality their jobs are to fuck people over. All the episodes I have seen have completely disgusted me, they try to play down on the fines and court dates and make the police officers look friendly by toning down their attitude (I know that this is for the camera, if this show were filmed undercover then everything would have a WAY different outcome - cops are belligerent assholes in reality) and make the kids some kind of guilt-tripped mindless youth who can't think for themselves and need the government to wipe their asses at every move.
I truly feel sad for anyone who turns this program on and believes that it is in any way accurate. Only the weak minded youth who have never stepped out of the bounds of the living room television set, only the bubble kids could ever think that this is what goes on in reality. Only the misguided parents who trust in the lies and propaganda, those who have completely forgotten their own experiences or choose to ignore logic when it pops up in the dark corner of their minds, only they could think this is benevolent.
Who else thinks this program is an aberration?

Re: MTV's Busted
You know, I didn't think much of the show until I ran into the cops a few times myself... Busted is absolute bullshit. Never have I been treated that fairly by a police officer, ever, even when I wasn't suspicious in any way.

Re: MTV's Busted
Sounds like bull-shit, nazi propaganda to me, like almost everything else on TV these days.
