Ok. I know everyone says "I need to know this for a friend". But this time I really am asking this for a friend. Here is the story:

This guy has a small clatch of time release 100mg morphine pills (tiny, grey 100/M squared). He has been eating them on and off for a few weeks. 1 or 2 here and there, coupled with alcohol. He says they don't really get him to "high" or fucked up. I tend to believe him cause I've sat with him for a while after he took a couple, and he really doesn't seem to buzzed at all. Anyway, now he has the idea that he wants to try and shoot some. I at least got him off the idea that he could shoot as much as he eats. He's not the smartest of folks. So now, since I gave him the advice on not to shoot so much, he is looking to me to help him the rest of the way. I told him I want no part of it, but he's gonna fuckin do it anyway. Could someone here help with the particulars on this deal?

* The pills he's got are time release, how does he prep to a bootable solution?

*He eats 1 or 2 of them while/after drinking a liter of rum. What should his boot dose be? I told him he shouldn't go with more than 25mg., but shit, I really don't know. I'm just trying to get him to realise there is a difference.

If someone here could point me out to a good source for the info on this I'd appreciate it.

P.S. It's not like I'm being sanctamonious on this, the guy throws me almost as many as I want for free. I just don't want to see him waste that many or die. I'd lose my hookup. Plus he is a friend.

I don't care how dumb my buddy is, he is my friend above anything else. Call me a bitch but I would alert the authorities on him if he tries to do this in a way that I think is dangerous. I DO NOT want to do that. Thats why I'm trying to get some guidance on this. I'm a trained CPhT, and I have no clue as to how to defeat the time release mechanism. It is beyond me. It's never come up, probably never will, for obvious reasons. And that was several years ago. I'm well versed on what it does when you try to crush it (coagulation/gelling), but thats as far as it goes. And these do "gel". Trust me.

As much as I've searched on this subject, it now is like a personal mission just to find out how to circumvent the goddam time release function.

i used to get the same pills a few years back. just lick it and rub the coating off. they never gelled for me.
