Yeah I am probably one of maybe 5 in my entire HS that is like that. When people find out I smoke they are usually shocked, as I get pretty good grades and put forth effort in my creative works.

People tend to not be surprised when they find out I smoke but not because I act like your typical stoner. I'm just very laid back and very open minded and accepting. I have a very calm demeanor. I can however hold my own very well in most any type of debate or discussion that involves an understanding or intelligence on many subjects. Most notably drug info, higher consciousness, the cosmos and politics.

Stereotypical stoners annoy me and give us all a bad name but it's something that will always be a factor to anyone examining the situation.

but you can be psychologically addicted to weed, you can be an addict of just about anything you enjoy... working out, sex, food, riding bikes, running... i guess you could consider appetite loss and insomnia physical withdrawal symptoms but they are mild and only last a few days if you did get those symptoms...

First of all you CAN be addicted to weed, yeah its called mental addiction in the same way people get addicted to gambling and sex...

Secondly smoking weed DOES make you stupid, in the short term whilst smoking it a lot it makes you quite a lot stupider and even after quitting your mind never seems to quite works to its full capacity pre-smoking.

Both of these points are from personal experience and the experience of a lot of people I know. Dont believe all the pro-stoner bullshit you read just as you shouldnt believe all the anti drug bullshit you read, learn to think for yourself.

Thinking about smoking pot all the time is pathetic, that is true. I don't particularly enjoy conversing about weed..not a helluva deep convo in all of that shit. I too know many retards that just sit around saying shit like "Dude Im such a chill ass stoner Im high all the time!!" and I agree that is laughably ignorant.

BUT just because someone does smoke pot all the time doesn't necessarily make them pathetic. I've cut back on my smoking to maybe a bowl or two every couple of months...but when I was a heavy smoker (which spanned about 7 years) I continued to succeed in school and at work just fine. Didn't always think about it nor did I always want it.

My mind is a hell of a lot slower and doesnt process things as easily as it did before I smoked long term, iv noticed a definite reduction in brain function over the last year of heavy smoking that has continued since I quit. I'm also less motivated and more lazy than when I smoked and IMO those 4 things = stupid = weed made me stupid.
