Are you kidding me? Of course I do. There was a whole generation of asian bootlegs on LD.

Most Americans believe this to be true in the U.S. as well, they simply have no knowledge of other formats other than the ones marketed. So in short, I don't believe you.
With that being said, yes I do remember them. All the classrooms in my school had laser disk players. A majority of films were watched on VHS, but every now and then we were treated to the wonderful laser disc. I think in all I have watched two videos on this format. One was a video on U.S. Presidents and the other was about the different ages (Bronze, Iron, Steel ect.).

Re: Who remembers Laserdisc?
Yea we had them at school and they were occasionally used, we watched science movies and whatnot on them.
But I don't think I know a single person who actually had one in their house.

Re: Who remembers Laserdisc?
LaserDisc was wicked. You couldn't buy them anywhere in my town, but you could borrow them from the library.
I had a combo 5 Disc CD Player/LaserDisc player and it took hours to figure out how to properly connect it to everything.
