So my boyfriend might be going to the Illinois Institute Of Art-Chicago campus, and ill be going with him to find a school down there or a job of some kind. I was just wondering if anyone who lives there could give me some info on the place , like bud prices, good stoner areas to live, etc lol we dont have alot of money so im looking for some kind of cheap apartment thats liveable. and what are the cosp tolerance on bud? ive never been to chicago so whatever u can tell me about it would be awesome. Im moving from kansas, so im pretty sure its better than here.

Dont buy from city nigs, all they got is shytownbrown and you dont want that, I would suggest skate parks, or high schools/colleges in the burbs thats where you will find best fire. As far as prices you will find shwag for free, so-so dank for 15 a gram 50 for 8th, and real fire for 20 a gram 60 an 8th. Shitload of cops everywhere so be careful. In the city you will just get a ticket for under 2.5 grams unless your drivin n smokin, but anywhere else cops will fuck you over. Also dont be on the phone or eating while driving because you WILL get pulled over, some cops are cool but 90% are dickheads. Ask locals for City of Chicago get out of jail free card , no joke, get a cop to sign it on the back.

Good luck on the apartment search. I suggest once here you go to a reality company that advertises/rents apartments. One that is pretty good is the North Clybourn Group. It's on North ave. and Clairmont (Google maps). You go there, tell them what you want/want to spend in rent/where you want to live in the city, and they look around for you. I think it's free and they charge the landlord for their services (helping them to rent their apts. and stuff). <--Don't quote me on that; I used them once before but found something before they did, so I cut them loose.

Chicago is AWESOME. If you're not a hot-house flower, the winter is great, but I like the colder weather (beautiful in the city when it snows!). Summers are short, lasting anywhere from late May to early June <--> late September to early October (sometimes we get an indian summer in mid-late October). Summers are usually hot and damn humid.

Navy Pier and the beach is fuckin' great. Great to hang out by in the summer; in the winter, it's great to stroll along, stoned, while sipping some hot cocoa. Just do your blazing before you get there - cops. up. the. ass.
