Intranasal APAP
I have a friend who used to have an OC habbit of around 250-300mg per day. He is also a reasonably intelligent person and knows his shit about most drugs.
When he did OCs he would always snort them. Then he tells me that he used to snort percocets too. At the time i wrote him off as ignorant but now I'm thinking; Why not?
Even if the APAP and binders do coat the majority of the nasal cavity and block the absorbtion of most of the oxy, the rest would simply go into your stomach where is has a higher bioavailability.
Even if 80% is blocked and goes into the stomach, you still have the immediate onset of the other 20% while you wait for the rest to kick in. And the part that does go into the digestive tract should hit the blood stream more quickly than if it were taken like normal since it has been finely chopped for insufflation.
So why does everyone say that you shouldnt snort things with APAP in them like percs and vics. Aside from the discomfort and inconvenience of insullfating so much powder, is there any danger to snorting these or any diminishing effect on bioavailability?

Dude, theres no call to be a dick.
Obviously its bad for your sinuses, im asking if it poses more danger than other drugs people commonly insufflate. Perferably responses will contain specific information with sources so we can engage in an intellectual discourse.

Nasal cavity - the typical damage of not very well water soluble substance drying up your nose and scratching up your nasal membranes, which in turn can cause lots of other problems if its repeated (infection n shit).
But what I would worry is all that unnecessary powder going into your lungs and fucking up all them fragile tissues cloggin your lungs n shit.

^ Yes. Snort APAP. You could get a lot of views on youtube, maybe, but probably not.

Re: Intranasal APAP
Like it was said before drugs like opiates and amphetamines that are water soluble will be easier on your nose than most other drugs. And from what I have read APAP is a pretty caustic substance in it's own right, and it DOES fuck up your nasal cavity more than a number of other drugs.
So yes:
It is bad for your nose.
It hurts like hell.
Makes you look dumb.
Percocet aren't coated so thats why you can eat them!

Re: Intranasal APAP
in my opinion, eating the pill has a really, really quick onset anyway so fuck snorting it if you're not sure.. you use more time posting and checking the thread every so often than the elapsed time between popping the pill and starting to get all floaty and euphoric.
