Suboxone Re-Dose (Quick short question)
I snorted around 1 mg of buprenorphine (suboxone N8's) about 3 hours ago, it kicked in after about an hour, and I got sidetracked playing guitar/posting on totse, but I had planned to do more. I know its not like other opiates, oxycodone for example, where you can do 20 mg's wait a couple minutes and if its not strong enough, do some more.
But Suboxone has that crazy naloxone that blocks the narcotic affects of opiates. I just did 5 mg's five minutes ago, approx 3 hours after I did the 1 mg, will the .5 mg's have any affect or increase/lengthen the high? Would it make me sick tonight or tomorrow due to the opiate blocker and buprenorphine being an opiate (I had once, stupidly, done 30 mg's of oxy after I had done 2 mg's of suboxone 8 hours before and got violently sick) or would buprenorphine sidestep it or something since it is also a component of the pill.
It won't bother me if it has no affect/is blocked by the naloxone, I get them for free, or at most for 8$ a pill, I just don't want to be sick tomorrow as I have to work, and me being sick would prompt closer examination by my parents, they might notice my constricted pupils and wonder why I'm sick all of a sudden, put 2 and 2 together and realize I'm doing drugs again.
Somebody answer my question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111one
Thanks

Re: Suboxone Re-Dose (Quick short question)
Maybe do 1 -2 more mgs but you might get sick.
You will also be high at work most likely
You will still feel the opiate effect, but it kinda just makes it last longer rather than getting more high

Re: Suboxone Re-Dose (Quick short question)
First of all you are snorting Suboxone? .......I was always told to never snort it.
I always would let it dissolve under my tounge, and doing that small of amount wouldnt really do anything anyways, would it?
When im doing Suboxone, I dose 4mg than about 2 hours later another 2mg and then 3 hours the last 2mg.......Ive never had any problems getting sick doing it that way, not like Methadones atleast.

Re: Suboxone Re-Dose (Quick short question)
snorting suboxone is just as harmful as injecting it!! The Naloxone in it is not absorbed through the mucus membranes or the GI tract. However, it is absorbed intranasaly and could potentially cause severe withdrawal. Also, due to the strong binding/blocking affinity of naloxone you likely would not be able to be "rescued" from the withdrawal and would be sick until the drug dissipates.

Re: Suboxone Re-Dose (Quick short question)
The first time I did suboxone (the orange bupe/naloxone ones) I railed a quarter of one and ended up puking all day. It was pretty shitty. So those I just put under my tongue. But Subutex (the white ones with only buprenorphine) I could rail and didn't get sick.
