i know there is millions of these "combination drug" threads, but i have never seen a alchy and acid so i thought i'd ask.
Is taking acid while being drunk (around the 8 drink mark) even fun? or does it just ruin the acid triP? or add to it?

A few beers on the comedown however, is just fine for me. Helps calm down and sleep.

I'm 95% sure that spinal tap thing is bullshit. Besides, NOWHERE is going to test you for drugs with a spinal tap. And if you DO need a spinal tap, for whatever reason, they're not going to look for acid for shits and giggles. When you get a spinal tap it's going to be for something pretty damn serious, and they're not going to be digging around for traces of LSD.

It's gone from your body rather quickly, and isn't detectable in urine. It wouldn't be efficient for anyone to test for LSD.

the spinal tap is bullshit that i am sure of. Ive heard theres an expensive piss test but it only detects it 3 days afterwords, not sure about that one.

A kid i know who trips alot said sometimes he likes to get drunk then trip. Not like completley trashed tho. Says it puts him in a good mindset.

I don't mind drinking with my acid. Depends on what I'm doing though...If I'm going to a party then I'll probably have a few drinks regardless. Takes the edge off the trip a bit imo.

Alcohol significantly ends/stops/chills an acid trip....
Drinking and taking acid, will make the trip significantly weaker...

You can and I have with every trip I've taken. Just use your head and don't overdo it. Eight drinks over the course of the night will be fine. Eight drinks smashed back to back over an hour if just being silly. Get tipsy, not confused, spinning head drunk 'cause then you're just wasting some of that LSgooDness and that's a damn shame.

This is no joke. The last time I tripped I drank an 18 rack to my face and then when I was coming down drank a shitload of jager on my friends boat.

It definitely makes your trip less intense though.

Ive drank on acid at parties, it keeps things from being too overwhelming... but it dulls the trip down alot. Which could be useful if things get too intense for you to be comfortable with.

Only think i hated was, like 5am rolling around, everyone else is passed out in various parts of the house, and im still wide fucking awake....

ur still as drunk as how many youve had but dont realize it casue ur trippin. like you'll still stumble and shit if you"ve had too many.

on a really unrelated note, drinking on shrooms is weird. i couldn't feel it at all and i had like 5 beers and a few huge swigs of Malibu. not like i'd be stumbling or anything but i'd definitely be a bit drunk, but i didnt feel shit until i had to drive. then it was just weirdly the hardest driving i've ever done.

It'll pretty much end or make your trip like a shitty glow. Trust me, I'm a professional, just look at my username.

I like to have one beer at the onset but no more. It helps relax me and put me in the right mindset. Go overboard and the alcohol will dilute the overall experience.

Once your starting to come down and are obviously no longer tripping is when to start drinking like a fish.

Protip: Starting the trip when your already shitfaced will cause most of the mental aspects of alcohol intoxication to dissipate.

mushrooms and drinking do seem to go together better. I always have on Olde English on hand now whenever I trip on shrooms, as I had one the first time I ever did...it's just sort of a tradition now. For me, it actually seems to lessen some of the shroom nausea, which doesn't make much sense.

As for acid and alcohol, fucking hate it. took a hit once while I was stumbling drunk at a kegger, and sat in the corner with a massive headache and the walls thrumming into me. An acidhead friend of mine who's also a raging drunk tells me that acid negates all the negative effects of drinking and leaves only the positive effects. He seems to be the only person I've ever meet who has enjoyed this particular combo.
