Ok so here is the story. Tue was my best friends GF's Bday. Me and all the people i chill with mainly just smoke herb, but like once every 2 months or so we will get together and just all get straight fucked up out are minds. Well, it's about that time. Now we wanted to do something for her bday, so i said we would rent out a hotel room for the the night (this friday), and have a lil coke party.

Well, i have to be the one to set stuff up, as i'm the only one that's really productive. Anyways, i wanted to get a good bit of coke (looking at getting a quarter spoon). Now i havn't messed with coke in like 2-3 months. As i said, once every other month or so we get tore up.

Now i'm trying to get a hold of some people to see what's up with coke in my area, but had no luck getting a hold of anyone tonight. The person i use to get coke from "quit" doing it. The person i obtained it from was actually my best friends, GFs mom/stepdad.

Now she told me her mom and stepdad stopped, etc. I know how that goes. Even if you quit, you still know people in the game, where to get it etc. So i called her mom tonight but she was asleep and i told her i would talk to her tomorrow. If i get it from her i know it won't be bs, and i won't have to do shit.

But for the reason she can't find any, get any, whatever, i might have to make a few calls to other people. Now my friends gf's mom is the only person i have ever bought coke from really, and i want to get a quarter spoon, but i know when you dangle that kind of money in front of someone, that they would love to just rip you off and give you some swag shit and disappear.

What i need to know from totse is what to really, really look for.

I need to know how to spot "cut".

What do i want my coke to look like. Do i want it to be snowy/fluffy bright white looking when broke down? Do i want it to like "shimmer" such as salt does when broken down? Do i want it to be a fine(r) powder when broken down and non fluffy? Do i want it to look like small squareish crystals such as what playsand looks like? What is the best kind of coke to be looking for.

I know i want fishscale/brick/(insert your term here) stuff, but assuming i find someone with rock, is there a way to tell if the rock has been cut? Most of the stuff i have gotten in the area when it is rock, it is VERY VERY SOLID. I mean like you literally have to "snap" the rock in half to break it, and to break it down i put it in a dollar bill and fold it up and beat the hell out of it with a lighter (even then it sometimes still won't break down fully). Is this a good thing?

What exactly is re-rock (as i have heard this term some before but am unfamiliar with it)?

Are there any quick tests i can perform on it when it's being sold to me, to check for purity. Like not 100% know what it is. But any quick tests, to determine if it's good shit, or swag ass stuff?

Any other things i should look for when buying?

First off, stop wasting your blow in Newports. Wanna smoke crack? Rock it up, brother. Once you go crack you never go back.

Secondly, it's tough to determine quality etcetera when scoring blow from randoms. If your first hook can't get you, and you do have to resort to backups, try keeping it within your circle of friends/associates/friends of friends so that there's at least a bit more leeway than there will be getting it from Leeroy down at the bus stop.

If you can buy a gram or so first and have the money to spare, then do that. Most dealers don't have any qualms about selling small amounts to new customers. Generally, if it's some good shit, the quarter is going to be good shit, too. Then again, there ARE dealers who, if they know what you're up to, will sell you a gram of some quality shit and then when you come back for the real score, sell you some different, bunk shit. So be careful.

And no, "smoking coke", as you're describing it, is not smoking crack; smoking crack is smoking crack. Keep in mind when you hear some people use the phrase "smoking coke" they are, in fact, referring to crack. You seem pretty sensitive about the stigma or something; like if I told you it was the same, you'd stop smoking the "cabbies" because people would think you were crackheads...

No matter who you pick up from, your coke is going to be cut. Now its the degree of how much its cut that will determine purity. Unless you have some sick ass Medellin

When your buying, always remember the rockier the better. If you see a bag of yay thats all powder, then you know that it is cut to shit. The more rocks generally mean the better the quality, since there is less cut.

If you do get a rock, it should be hard, little off white, and should numb your gums at the touch.

First of all, you are a piece of shit of the highest magnitude for asking a reformed coke head to get you coke.

Second of all, you are a moron of an almost equally high magnitude for smoking cocaine.


The vaporization point of cocaine (as in, the powder) is very close to the decomposition point, which means heating it to smoke it destroys damn near all of it, where as the vaporization point of the freebase cocaine (aka crack) is much lower than the decomposition point.

When you smoke drugs, you are not burning the drugs (destructive decomposition) but are actually vaporizing the drug, and inhaling the vapor (weed, crack, meth, anything you can smoke).


As for purity, the only reliable way to tell, other than making sure you get rocks and not powder would be to either just snort some of it, get a test kit, or freebase it and weigh the difference between before and after, taking into account the weight of the lost HCl ion. Or do a CWE and weigh the difference.


In short, you aren't smart enough to do any of them except just fucking snort it and enjoy your 20% cocaine buzz.

Yeah but thats the thing, most dealers are scumbags. I've never, at least where I live, met a nice upstanding dealer who would be happy to hook you up with some extra shit, or cut the price 5 bucks to help you out, or go out of his way to get you better shit. In fact they usually would be happy to take rocked coke, cut off a small piece, smash that piece and throw it in a bag of cut (this stuff you get at weight gain places makes your gums numb like coke although not as severely) and sell you it. The only dealer I know for anything harder then weed I wouldn't trust with shit.
