I miss in-depth Star Wars flight simulators. All the recent fighter games have been stupid arcade shooters, somebody needs to bring back the sims that take intelligence and skill to play.

the newest one i played was star wars: jedi starfighter, and its pretty old, though it lacks the finesse of rogue squadron.

though a new descent game would be awesome

Seriously. Can you get any more by-the-numbers?

Yeah, you know what? I enjoy flying spaceships myself. Even though I know they don't exist in real life. However I don't give a shit if it's so unrealistic that I don't have to turn on 27 flight systems to get it to launch, arcade style is just fine.

Xwing vs Tie Fighter and Descent Freespace were both fucking awesome.
