muscles tremble
Every time I lift weights my muscles tremble afterwards, even when I have them relaxed. This happens the most with my upper body, and it last for about a half hour or more. Does anyone else experience this? Im thinking it's just my muscles being worked really hard, but I havn't heard of anyone experiencing this.

Re: muscles tremble
Your probably low on dopamine. The pot smoking probably doesn't help.

Re: muscles tremble
Actually, I quit smoking pot. I just use this username because I made it up a few years ago. Glad to hear someone else experiences this too. I don't know if it was signs of something more serious in the future.

Re: muscles tremble
Happens to me, but not badly. Usually goes away after a couple of minutes, too.
A trainer told me it's probably because I have lots of fast-twitch muscle fiber. I don't know how true that is, though.

Re: muscles tremble
What you're talking about is called muscle tetany. It can be due to a number of things, but given the circumstances it's probably due to one of two things:
1) Lack of calcium. Calcium is extremely important in physical exercise. Make sure you're getting plenty of calcium, whether via milk, a supplement, or something else.
2) Hyperventilation. Low CO2 levels can cause tetany as well. Hyperventilation will cause low CO2 levels in the blood. If you've been breathing especially hard, this is probably the reason. I wouldn't worry too much about it, but you might be working out a little too hard if you're getting involuntary muscle contractions.
