Voice Communication
Say you were on foot, traveling in a two man team doing things you probably should not be, communication would be key.
For someone that is interested in using electrical devices to make communicating with another person easier and more versatile what would you recommend?
It would need to be something rather small/light, inconspicuous and preferably on a line that could not be tracked/picked-up.
I know this is not a hard question and there are many obvious examples but I come to Totse to hear other options and suggestions.

Re: Voice Communication
Haha I've seen those children toy things that are like eyepieces with a wristband with a keyboard so you can type things. It might be too much of a hassle typing constantly, but maybe it'd be undetectable since they'd be looking for voice communication.

Interesting suggestion but you said it yourself, would be too much a hassle.

Re: Voice Communication
Use prepaid cellphones linked with some decent bluetooth headsets. It can be expensive for the better headsets, but having 4 to 5 hours of unbroken communication between everyone on your team, plus a guy sitting at home on a computer - well worth the money.

Yeh was considering that.
Do you know how clear the sound would be and how far the network can be spread?

Re: Voice Communication
It's basically like using a cellphone, but with a wireless headset. Be careful though, those bluetooth earpieces can fall off easily, they also make you look like a total douche bag, so make sure you arent seen by anyone.

Re: Voice Communication
Just use a fucking walkie talkie and talk in code.
Bluetooth will have the distence issue, cell phones would be better, but will place you at the scene.

this, plus walkie talkies have head sets as well.
There's certain ways you can encrypt radio transmissions if you are being monitored which are a lilttle more costly then buying regular walkie talkies , but even if you are under surveillance just switch up channels for each message (plan the channels you will use before an operation) and talk in code.

Re: Voice Communication
I brought a bunch of 'Friendlinks'.
Google that & you will find out some more about it.
Its basicly a TXTing machine that works like a kids walky talky, within about 25 feet signal range.
Theres other toys out there that do a similar job.
