They're fucking idiots, sure its not as great as their first couple albums but still, its kick ass. Unforgiven 3 has a fucking epic solo.

none of that is actually fact, though.

they don't need more money. if they wanted more money, making a record is NOT the way to do it... there are much more lucrative ways to make money, especially when you have a fortune that can be invested already. they didn't sell out... they refused to grow stagnant, that's what they did.

as for not being able to play it live, that is inherently ridiculous, because not only are they absolutely fantastic musicians, both of them, they can play much faster and more difficult stuff live, and there are videos of them ACTUALLY playing it live... and being as talented and professional about it as usual.

It hasnt got any of the thrash/melodic characteristics of metallica at all, I mean, I'm all for change, but seriously, a band should have a recognisable sound throughout.
