Regarding dream herb
I'm calling bullshit on this one as just being another snake oil product from the increasingly shady "legal high" businesses out there. I was genuinely interested in the supposed effects on lucid dreaming that dream herb had, and performed numerous experiments, including the time-honored shamanic tradition of making a tea from the leaves and smoking the remains, then lying in a cool, dark place until sleep took hold. After several tries with this bitter tasting bilge, I concluded that it had no marked impression upon my dream state, and that cannabis, in fact, is much better for producing a half-conscious lucid dream state. Curious as to what the rest of BLTC thinks of this oft-maligned, much-argued about legal herb.

Re: Regarding dream herb
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calea_zacatechichi
"It has been scientifically demonstrated that extracts of this plant increase reaction times and the frequency and/or recollection of dreams[1] versus placebo and diazepam."
Erowid experience reports
http://www.erowid.org/experiences/subs/exp_Calea_zacatechichi.shtml
I haven't tried this particular plant yet, personally, but it's been on a list for a while. I've been planning on making a dream pillow (small cloth pillow that you fill up with a mixture of psychoactive plants and herbs, such as lavender, valerian root, african dream root, calea, etc. etc.) that you put in the microwave for a few seconds to release the aromas. and put on your chest when going to bed.
Anyway, from what I've read, it is an effective sleep/dream aid.

Re: Regarding dream herb
Get some from a good source instead of ordering from shady "legal high" websites.
