Default Sex in a relationship.

Ok. Little bit of a back story here, so stick with me me. About 3ish years ago, I met a girl that I was instantly attracted to. I just had to get to know her better. Well, Things go well, and she and I end up in a fairly serious relationship. It was the first semi-serious relationship we'd both had. I was even her first kiss. At this time, we were both younger, and not really interested in sex. She even claimed to be Asexual. As in all relationships, we had our ups and downs. We had broken up, and after a few months, I started dating again. In this next relationship, I'd had sex a few times. No big deal. Then after that girl and I broke up, The first girl and I got back together. Things were good and all, but still no sex.

Several months go past, and things seem to be great. Then about a week before one of our high school dances, I ask her what our plans for the dance were, and she told me that she planned on going with one of her "guy friends" and tried to assure me that they were just friends. Of course, I got jealous, and said something that pissed her off(ironic, I know) and she broke up with me. So after awhile I start to forget about her, and move on. I dated other girls but then I met this girl and we just hit it off. This was the most serious relationship I'd ever been in. In this relationship, we had sex a lot. I felt like she could've been the one and all of that.

Well roughly the first of this month, She broke up with me. Broke my heart, blah blah, yadda yadda and the like. It sucked and all, but I'm trying to move on. About 3-4 days ago, my first girlfriend sent me an IM saying that she missed me and regrets ever breaking up with me. Now, I know that this girl has claimed to be Asexual(no sex, not asexual reproduction) and has no desire for children.

In the past several years, my views on things have changed and I've come to feel that sex is kind of important in a relationship. I've tried to tell her(first girlfriend) all of this, and she still wants to be with me. I don't know if she fully understands what I'm trying to tell her. She says she still really wants to be with me. I don't mean to sound shallow or like a prick, but I just don't want to be in a relationship with her if she is totally opposed to sex. I'm not saying that the relationship has to revolve around sex, but I feel it's important in a relationship.

Does &T have any ideas, suggestions, or advice?

She's full a shit and just wants to use your for money, stuff, etc while she bones more attractive men. I mean come on, she breaks up with you because SHE"S going to a dance with another guy and that upsets you? A girlfriend should be pissed if that doesn't upset you?

You're not doing her or yourself any favors by getting into a relationship that isn't going to meet one of your fundamental needs. It's great that you understand from the get-go what is necessary for you to make a relationship worse, and if you get into a relationship with a girl who can't meet your needs...you're not going to have much of a relationship. Spare yourself and her the difficulty and unhappiness and find a girlfriend you can connect with on a sexual level as well as an emotional one.

Wow. This is probably the best advice I've heard so far from anyone, online and in real life. Thanks

What he said was barely advice, and only good if it is actually how you feel.

If his post really is how you feel, than you never really liked the first girl, and were only thinking of getting back with her because you don't want to be alone.

If the girl really likes you, she will put out. It's just what happens. Girls do not say no to a guy they care about. Girls say no to a guy they are using for temporary comfort.

Id have to say sex in a good relationship is about 50% of the relationship. All the other emotional stuff is the other 50%.

That been said, I cant see how you can have a good relationship with this girl if you cant even see yourself being able to have sex with her, and her being ok with it.

-------

Is she still a virgin? Or just not into the idea of fucking you?

I don't understand how she's able to see us in a relationship, even after I've told her how I've felt.

She's still a virgin.

I've tried to call her, several times to talk to her, but there's always some reason why I'm unable to talk to her. I tried to call her earlier, and her phone rang once and she sent it to voicemail. I'm done with her. I'm not making another attempt to tell her how things are.
