Need some direction in life
***Long post ahead***
Short: I am looking for a career and/or a university or college program to enroll in. Throw out any suggestions.
I'm 19 with my own place, own car, fair amount of money and nothing planned for the future.
I've completed one semester of university which was a waste of time because it was general studies. I've had a few legitimate jobs in the past and I am currently holding down a steady job in construction but it is a waste of my talents and potential. Most of my income in the past has come from doing unsavory things which I now regret and realize were juvenile in nature with no future.
I can afford any university or college program but I have been completely detached from the world of academia for a long time. I'm a very sociable person and I interview extremely well due to my charismatic nature and likable character. I have completed all the top level high school courses with adequate-moderate marks due to the fact I did them all in my junior year as fast as possible so I would have a few years to do what I want.
I fear that most of my academic interests are too flaky and artsy to result in my earning of a diploma that will be useful in significantly increasing my earning power in the real world. Subjects such as philosophy, history, sociology, psychology, art-history, and so on are interesting to me, although you wouldn't guess that if you met me.
My interests include:
People
Travel
Fitness
Literature
Culture
My skills include:
People-person; great at networking, meeting people, talking to people, etc.
Reading & writing
Computers (I dislike them though)
Problem solving
Superior fitness
Great & original sense of humor
Excellent memory
Amazing at sales/selling.
My weaknesses are:
Terribly disorganized
Bored easily
Procrastinator
Mathematics
Random bouts of apathy mixed with depression
I have no criminal record thanks to Canada's young offenders act.
Money is not an issue.
I am looking for a career and/or a university or college program to enroll in. Throw out any suggestions.

It sure helps with a lot of sales and client-based occupations. Don't get so hung up on one detail you are obviously enviously lacking in.

Re: Need some direction in life
Do you want to work sitting down in an office? On your feet as field tech? Work in a plant? Become a personal trainer?
Have you made a list of trades (some make $35+/hr) or job types that would pay well enough that you don't want? Either because they take to long to get into or they just don't appeal?

Re: Need some direction in life
It's just a waste of time. There are way more people than there are good jobs, any job you apply for there's gonna be hundreds of other better people who also applied for that job, and it only gets harder every year with more people graduating.
You should rob banks/armored trucks/anything that wil get a good haul thats worth the risk. If you just plan it as best as you can it's almost impossible for them to catch you, If some people can rob 40+ banks before they catch them you could at least manage one hit. They didn't even catch this one guy who went through the banks drive thru and said he had a bomb.
Also who cares if you die, you are already lucky enough to have been born and live this long...your gonna die eventualy, make your time here as fun as you can.
