I've decided to smoke .3g of stems in a sobe waterfall bong. The stems are about 1-9 months old, and were found between my matress and the wall (I have a little shelf that I often throw stems on, and they eventually fall down into the crack).

Having no coffee grinder and finding scissors useless for the task, I used an old fashioned blender to grind up the stems. It did a decent job.

I loaded a bowl, and let the chamber fill with, thick, dark yellow smoke. I suppose having the stems out in the open must have dried them out.

I managed to inhale most of the smoke before I gagged, and a nasty, acrid taste filled me mouth. I quickly inhaled the rest, held the smoke for 5 seconds and exhaled, once again gagging on the taste. Before I could finish exhaling, a thick stream of vomit forced its way past the smoke and out of my throat.

Overall I got a slight buzz, not even comparable to one or two decent tokes off a dank joint which lasted around 30 minutes.

Overall: Failure.

You've never accidentally packed a piece of stem in a bowl before, and realized how god awful it tasted? What the fuck provoked you to smoke an entire bowl of stems?

I would of waited until I had about 7 grams or more, ground them into a fine dust, sifted them over a silkscreen, then smoked the resulting bit of kief.
Better than smoking the stems straight.

shoulda made cannabuteter out of that. I know its not much at all, but still so much better than smoking that damn stuff.

collecting stems is bad luck anyways.

i cleaned my pipe with 90% iso, evaporated it off for a couple of days, scrapped residue off, mixed with some tobacco, rolled it, smoked it and got surprisingly high off it... in retrospect i could have ended up with something less disgusting if i had filtered the alcohol solution through something to get the ash and semi burnt plant matter out but what the hell...
