Mega Man 9
It looks like it's going to kickass, and so far all reviews for it have been positive. My only problem is that enemies can shoot through walls. I always hated that about the older Mega Man games, but I guess they're going "retro". It's still cheap, and it still pisses me off.
The reason enemies re-spawned when you went back a screen and shot through walls in the NES days was because of the limitations of the original Nintendo. I think going retro is cool, but keeping all of the technical limitations of the NES for a game in 2008 to feel more "retro" is just going backwards IMO. The fanboys will be pleased though. :P

downloaded the game today. it's fuckin awesome. i'm a huge fan of the old NES games so i'm very happy with this. they really stayed true to the old style of game play and added a few new twists. also, check out this ridiculous limited edition box for the game:
