Default Trying to hide the fact you smoke from your good friend....

I'll try and make this short.

A really good friend of mine has smoked with me 3 times. All 3 times he has wierded me out and acted retarded when he got really high. He makes strange noises, shakes and dances around like a fairy. I tell him to chill out and he just tells me to let it out and show everyone I'm high....so I make this face 8 | . He also NEVER buys his own stuff, always has an excuse kind of thing. He'll occaisional ask to throw in a few bucks, but no smoker enjoys making someone pay like 5 bucks to get high.

Anyways, I really don't want to smoke with him anymore, but it'd probably hurt our friendship if I flat out told him that I don't enjoy smoking with him. He keeps asking me if I finally found any and I keep telling him nah, but while I was still somewhat buzzed I told a good friend of ours that I scored yesterday, and I know its going to get to my other friend.

I'm just going to say I smoked it all with a dude from school, but I know he'll say WHY DIDN'T YOU INVITE ME?!?!?

Any recommendations?

Say you quit 'cause you feel it's a waste of money or something. Then he might even offer to smoke you out.

Bullshit. Every post I've seen of yours reeks of 15 year old. If you are in college then that's sad.

Find some new friends or man up and tell your friend he needs to start bringing his own to match and that he needs to chill the fuck out or you won't be smoking with him till he does. He might be butthurt for a little while, but honestly how much longer do you expect the friendship to last if you guys are this different anyway?

He's not a faggot, he's only weird about weed, he's cool about everything else and I've been friends with him for like 7 years.

And yeah I am in college, I just don't really act like it.

Nice to know you've been keeping track of my posts though Plehem12 ;)

Oh I know this one...got a pretty good friend who ive kept my weed habit from for bout 5 years. Hes a big christian and pretty much a goody-good type kid (we gave him a can of beer one time and he chucked it at a wall) who wont really do anything thats remotly illegal, ive always thought that he would freak out if he found out I smoke so ive just never told him...actually to think about it I think ive kept it away from anyone who doesnt smoke except my family, I dont know if they really dont know or just dont care to say anything but im guessing im safe. If your trying to hide it I just always put in visine and spray some axe to cover anything up before I go to hang with him.

Yeah thats pretty straight but its so much different hiding it from someone who has alot of the same friends as you and someone who knows from experience that you probably have weed and you probably are high.

Just tell him you're tired of him bumming off you and leave it at that. I seriously doubt he'll fork over any cash after that either just because he generally doesn't.

Sorry eBagger...but I completely agree with this post. If you are truly in college then you're a pathetic manchild and are in serious need of a nice heaping helping of maturity and some descended testicles.

If you're truly "good friends" and are both in college then you should have no trouble by telling him the truth. If you're still 15 like I'm guessing you are then I kind of understand why you're being a little bitch about it..though a few members of my family are around that age and are obviously far more mature than you are.

Just fucking tell him you don't like how he acts when he's stoned. Tell him it makes you uncomfortable and takes away from your high and that he needs to seriously chill out or you aren't going to smoke with him anymore. Tell him you'll buy some for him to smoke alone if he wants (if he gives you the cash of course) but you really don't dig on smoking with him.

If the two of you are truly friends then it won't be a huge deal. If he pitches a fit call him a faggot for dancing around while he's stoned and boot his ass out of your house.

This is an alright idea. If you'd hook him up with an ounce it'd take him a pretty long while to smoke it as well. Plenty of time to yourself.

That's a shit attitude. If I was a regular smoker, my friends wouldn't "not understand" the high life and neither of them smoke weed regularly at all.

As for the people who have the "princess" friends who they need to hide their substance abuse from, fucking dump their asses. If your friends won't accept you for who you are then they're not your friends.

Anyway, OP, about your situation: just talk to your friend and explain to him that acting like a moron just because he's high isn't cool and is pointless and stupid. If you're telling the truth and you really are in college then holy shit, are you and your friends immature.

sorry but i disagree with that mate.

if youve been freinds for someone for 5-7 years you dont tell them to fuck off just because their stance is difference to yours, thats just fukin retarded.

you have to realise that your bias is not neccasarily better/ more accurate than others.

there are plenty of legitmate reasons why drugs should be made illegal or at least regulated.

seriusly you would just dump your freind of 7 years because of this one little thing ?

I first started smoking pot around age 15-16 and I had quite a few friends that didn't smoke. Never really made a difference to me if someone smoked or not. Is that all you talk about since you started smoking? If so that's pretty sad. Don't let it change you like that...and don't let it become the only thing you're interested in.

Your only solution, is to make new friends, those who are experts at smoking weed, and not associate with people who dont regularity smoke weed.

People who dont understand the need and benefits frequently smoking weed are inferior to you, and thus are not worthy of your friendship.
They just dont understand, all those things you think that you think about but dont really remember, when you are high.

Just tell your friend that your marijuana habit is coming between the friendship, and make it really clear what you are choosing.

Good responses!

At least we can all agree I'm immature. But my friends are pretty immature too.

Yeah I might just tell him straight up and see how it goes.

If someone told me to fuck off because of what I put in my own body then I would do the same.

I have plenty of non-drug-using friends. Doesn't necessarily mean I should shun them because of that. Rather, true friends wouldn't, and for me, they do not, judge me because of these things.

Incase your a hardcore junkie (in which case all your friends will probably be into drugs too.)

Friends > Drug use

Unless of course they do something really fucked up would you really ditch a friend of 5 years just because of their stance on drugs? Anyone who chooses drugs especially something like weed over friends just because they have a different stance are complete idiots. Simply don't do drugs around them, learn to say no or just tell them to accept what you do.
