So I just got myself a girl i can actually stand. Attractive, not dramatic like most high school girls, smart, plays video games, likes almost all the same things, and best of all the same sense of humor. Only a couple problems, she doesn't smoke pot but her parents do. I like to toke up almost everyday sometime, I don't smoke or be high around her yet but she knows i smoke. Yesterday i rolled a joint and went for a walk with the intention of smoking but she didn't like the harshness of the smoke. She has a bit of a sore throat so i tried to tell her but she wanted to try it. She took two hits and I shotgunned it to her once. Not sure if she got anything off it. Thats not so much a problem that needs solved just on that will need time. She is also a vegetarian and I am not, but that hasn't caused any problems yet. Anyways i really like her and she isn't dramatic, homecoming is tomorrow and i would LOVE to get high and go but only if she does. Is this retarded?

Sounds like you got a keeper on your hands. Well for starters why should your differences be problematic? I think the more different (in personalities to a degree) is very interesting. For example, have you ever had vegetarian food? I have to say even though im hands down a meat eater, vegan/vegetarian food is awesome. Also with the pot. Even if she never really picks up on it, as long as she has no problem with you blazing then it really shouldnt matter right? Anyway dont let the small things get to ya,

I'm all for drugs, but their not for everyone. If your girl doesn't want to smoke pot then who gives a fuck, more for you. How about you just spend time with her without forcing your habits on her?

There isn't a mutual sobriety contract once you enter a relationship. If you want to smoke, then fucking smoke, just don't act a fool when your with her.

I just know it would be awkward. I would rather just not smoke. Its not like ZOMG I NEED TO SMOKE OR ITS BORING. I enjoy her company sober and i am sure i would high, but i dont want to be around her like that if shes sober. No matter what shes a keeper, its just that it would be nice if she got high with me.
