hey totse, i am thinking of getting a tattoo on the back of my wrist (right below my hand where my veins are).

it will only be a small 10cm or so black and white image.

will this be painful?

can anything happen to my veins or bone?

this is my first tattoo so i want to know what i should expect

Get a needle and scrape it across the area with a moderate amount of force. That is what it is like.

bad place for a first tat, IMO.

Not because of pain, but just because it is going to be forever obvious.

I have several freinds who have them, and they said they were fairly painful.

But its a tattoo, unless your sadistic or something and enjoy pain, its supposed to hurt.

Are their bones close to the surface? If yes it'll hurt.

hey, i plan to get a tattoo at the end of the month, at first i wanted it to be on my wrist however i feel as if i may regret it as i get older so now i am getting it on my chest, above my left peck.

I have not though about this until now but what happens as my body grows...I am only 15, what will happen to my tattoo when i reach 20 or 30...will it stretch? or not much change?

i have a tattoo on my forearm reaching from the inside of my elbow to my wrist.

i don't recommend putting it someplace so evident. i wish i would've put it somewhere else...

I have one in the same spot you're talking about. Personally, I don't think it hurt that bad, and I don't really have a high pain tolerance, so you shouldn't be too too worried. But then again, as the old saying goes, "Fuck yeah it hurts!"

What kind of tattoo are you going to get there if I may ask?

A few years ago I ALMOST got a marijuana leaf right there is a drunken stupor. Good things my friends stopped me.
