I just started playing and fuck, this is a good MMO. Far more complex then World of Warcraft or something like that, it's not just something you can jump into, you'd definitely need to have some experience with other MMO's first.

The interface looks great, maybe slightly cluttered compared to EQII but still easy to navigate.

Character creation isn't as customizeable as I would have liked (if you want to be a dark elf you have to be a chick, and instead of choosing individual features like in EQ you just get to choose from a few pre-set faces, Morrowind style) but I really didn't mind once I started playing the game.

Overall, great looking game and cool gameplay. I'm interested to hear how everyone else lines it up against other MMORPG's.

My brother is an MMORPG whore & picked this up today. I've been hearing good things about it from people who have been following the game's release so we shall see how it turns out.

Yes you do, and unlike WoW you don't need a CC to claim the 30 month (not that I care, you could just google a random CC number and start playing)

and like WoW I was expecting it to be sold out that's why I went in the early morning to pick my copy up

I had some installation problems but once I got it installed I got to level 4 before the servers went down, damn it was fun, being able to pvp without being max level ftw.

What classes did you guys choose? High Elf Swordmaster here.

How long till servers are up anyway?

I heard they were shutting down Australia due to too many crazy Australians ruining the game.

I was planning on playing the Archmage, but decided to roll Ironbreaker instead, he's level 11 at the moment
